Did not pay mortgage off as promised

We had forgotten all about this, however as an update we found out that our previous mortgage co. was late on updating their records. Mortgage Now did pay off our existing mortgage with CitiMortgage on time, and we were not charged any late fees.

We refinanced with mortgage now inc. they did not pay off our previous mortgage on time, and now we are subject to late fees and possibly bad credit. Up to this point we had a great credit. Mortgage now lied to us on several occasions and we are very pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On several occasions our phone calls were not returned or we could not leave messages due to their mailbox being full. We closed with them the end of June and here it is the end of July and our previous mortgage ( CitiMortgage ) is telling us they have not been payed yet. As of the 15th of July they told us there is now a late fee applied and if not payed off by the 30th they would send us to collection and report us to the credit co.
