Warranty Claim

- Used eight times; after 100% charge it shows 0% and replacement battery is requested.
To whom it may concern,
I purchased the Moonpod stick vacuum for $380.50 on the 23rd of September 2024 through Openpay and have only used it eight times. It had been working fine up until a week ago when I placed the unit on charge to reach 100%. However, after charging, and the display read 100%, I pressed the trigger to start vacuuming only for the unit to go straight to a 0% charge instantly. I have tried to recharge it again, but with the same result after the display read 100%. I have attached a photo of the battery for your records and I would be grateful for a replacement battery please.

Would give this zero stars if I could, not even worth one. Worst machine, no suction, no service, won't honor their supposed money back guarantee even if you are within the 14 day period.
I have been in an email war with Moonpod.com.au - Joy & Anne, required me to send video/photos of the machine and the issues did all of this and they still continue to reply asking questions I have already answered. Biggest waste of money and time, reporting to consumer affairs for false advertising. They claim to be as good as the biggest brand on the market the only thing that is comparable is the machine looks similar Machine won't stay on all the time - turns itself off even though you don't have to hold your finger on the trigger with this machine for it to run.
The suction is bad, the so called HEPA filter is nothing like a HEPA filter, the machine picks up minimal dust and dirt, you then have to follow up with a second run with an alternative product (see photo one and the amount picked up versus photo 2 vacuuming the exact same area straight after with the competitor product and the amount picked up) the Moonpod canister is hard to empty and goes everywhere. They won't call to discuss they just continue to send back emails asking the same questions.

I bought this vacuum, it screams like a banshee and picks absolutely nothing up. I emailed to get a refund, they wanted a video, I sent them one, then they told me this is totally normal, and that I should sweep the floor with a brush before vacuuming!
Ridiculous doesnt even begin to cover it. And as its not a fault because they are all this crap they wont take it back.
£180 down and now I have to make a trip to the dump. Do not buy this product.

Do not buy Moonpod vacuum! Suction is atrocious does not pick up fluff or anything for that matter from carpet.
Had to sweep the floor with a broom after vacuuming with the moonpod. Just useless $358:down the drain. Wrote to company expressing my disappointment but not expecting a reply let alone a solution or refund.

There is no such vacuum called a Moonpod. They have labeled an inferior vacuum worth $20 to $358. Just go and look at the Alibaba Chinese site. Wow, you have no choice but to throw it in the bin.
It's totally useless. Beware of the sponsored reviews you read too, selling it as a premium made product.
It's the pits. Shame on these sharks.

It's ok
- Not built to last; suction is weak.
- Picks up dust on floors and carpet.
- Pricing is low versus local brands; tracking and service concerns.
This is certainly not built to last nor has the suction power advertised, however it's not as bad as I feared it would be. It is doing what it should do and picking up the dust and fluff from both hard floors and carpet.
It came with some battery life straight out of the box and that didn't last very long about 2 to 3 mins. Battery life to be tested but for a small home this should be OK.
It's design is pretty good to be fair. It's easy to remove the dust and dirt and empty. You can feel it's not a durable product at the same time.
I am only day one of it and plenty of time for things to go wrong.
Should I have spent a little more and bought a local product?
Absolutely.
This is a poor man's Dyson and you would probably pick up something better in the shops for half it's price.
I was just glad it arrived after some shifty tracking updates. I think customer service would be shithouse, of you get any at all.

To stop other people being scammed
- No order confirmation; I had to contact them to confirm the order.
- No refund and no return address; they avoided sending one.
- Please do not buy one.
I bought it, got no confirmation, and had to contact them to even find out if the order had gone through.
Same issue as the customer below had, they wanted a video and I just did not want a hoover worse than the one that it was replacing.
No money back, no return address just constantly trying to avoid sending me return address. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ONE
