Mechanical failure

I have ridden a thousand miles - I love the bike (TK1). This weekend, the clamp that releases or locks the frame opened twice. After the first time, I thought I had done something wrong, so I clamped it again and it opened again after riding about 2 miles. I flew over the handlebars twice and did bruise my ribs. Tell me how to fix this problem or refund my money.
