Moolala sells out, skips town, and takes your money with them.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had an $89.00 credit at Moolala and now that they have been acquired by Boomstreet the credit is no longer honored. This seems to be the same complaint listed over and over. Total BS with no offer of resolution. Just an email that says Boomstreet acquired the database and email but none of the responsibility. Completely unacceptable. I don't know what is worse, a company that selss out without taking care of the customer credits they still owe, or a company that acquires them and refuses to honor the past deals. Either way I would recommend taking your shopping to anywhere but Moolala or Boomstreet.

Yep, I had same situation. I had a credit that I no longer can use.....seems these companies just skip around with a new name...ncrowd, moolala, etc.

I should have suspected as much when they issued a "credit" on account instead of an actual credit to my card.

I am submitting a claim to the BBB as i want my $30 back. There are lots of complaints on BBB about nCrowd

Original review Oct 15, 2015
They recently changed their name to Boomstreet & tell me I no longer have a $30 CREDIT????? It seems they are still run by n Crowd. There was never any notice about a company change over so customers could use the credit..we just apparently LOST the money.I have emailed them several times to no avail. I wanted my credit card credited originally but they refused. Hmmm wonder why???? The items I ordered could not be sent to Hawaii so they said my account would be credited. I really just want my $30 back. That is a lot of money for me but a piddy amount for them I am sure.

I am actually going through the same thing. The item I ordered was discontinued.

They were going to give me a credit to purchase more items. I refused and wanted my money back. They said I would get a refund within 5 to 7 business days. But still not refund.

I have sent them numerous of emails but no response. So unprofessional for a business.

I will take this further no matter how much money it is. It is mine!

I agree & I have filed a claim w/ the BB. I am just hoping I got the right Ncrowd company as there were several. Ncrowd still backs Boomstreet as they did Moolala & we should not have lost our credits &/or at least been told before hand.

The WORST collection of "cheap deals" I've seen so far!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Moolala is a company that lacks a user friendly database. Deals are definitely not apparent, there are fine lines that you must read through before making your final purchases. This is a very useless source for my shopping needs. Information are listed inaccurately (i.a. sub-headline would say "8 deals for new mexico, however, there are NON listed). Uhh Okay.. it makes me wonder whether or not the deals have JUST been purchased and I'm a second too late OR i might have missed the first listing of deals? "deals" for accessories are not exactly cheaper than normal retail stores or better yet AMAZON.

Resolved: Frozen Doll set very disappointing

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Jan 23, 2015

I finally did receive store credit for the dolls and I ordered more merchandise of acceptable (MUCH better) but still not the best quality. I will leave it as is and have learned my lesson.

I order all the time from Groupon and Living Social...highly recommend these site along with Amazon. Yes, you can still encounter problems even with them but at least it is easier to deal with good customer service!

Original review Dec 07, 2014
A few weeks ago I ordered my first order with Moolala since their reorganizing with n crowd. I ordered the 2 Frozen Dolls for $24.00 on the 15th of October. It seemed like a long time in arriving but I didn't concern too much about it since they are a popular item and therefore in big demand. Well, I did receive them about a week ago and I was very disappointed with the quality of the dolls. They looked nothing like the picture. Not even in a box!! They were wrapped very poorly in a plastic bag and the bag was obviously mailed from China ! The dolls both had the same color hair, their clothes are cheaply made and not even pretty and they looked very much like something from the dollar store. Very cheap knockoff of the authentic dolls! I would be embarrassed to give them to any little girl as a gift much less for my granddaughter. I checked with the toy stores in our area. Sadly the genuine Frozen dolls don't cost much more then these did. I am so sorry I ordered these and will NOT be ordering anything more from the company. I had problems with the first Moolala company but tried to give theml another chance. SE

They got me, too, on the dolls. My 4 year old Granddaughter still loved them, but she loves everything.

I was the one that was so disappointed in the quality for the money.

I have stopped ordering from this site. We live and we learn.

I ordered the Frozen dolls and Frozen phone from nCrowd and when they arrived a month later, it didn't look anything like the picture. They were shipped from China and looked so cheap as if they came from the dollar store and I paid $24 and $29 respectively for them.

Now, I tried to go buy them from the regular stores and they are sold out. It would have been cheaper for me to buy them from Target or Walmart.

Moolala is what it is

If and ever Moolala lists something from "Evening Crystals", DO NOT PURCHASE!! You will be one UNHAPPY camper!! Their "Tibet" turquoise necklace does not even qualify as junk. If you happen to encounter other reviews, just know that they must have been written by their own staff, because there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that their sub-junk is as nice as they lead one to believe. STAY AWAY from Evening Crystals. As far as Moolala is concerned, they list your typical junky junk stuff, probably stuff shipped directly from China available for sale by less than stellar businesses. You can probably find it cheaper elsewhere too. But STAY AWAY from Evening Crystals.

DONT GET RIPPED OFF BY THIS COMPANY, STAY AWAY.

Back in early October I placed an order and soon after I received an email that my item had shipped out from their vendor in China. I waited 5 weeks and still did not received my product. I emailed their customer service and they said it could take up to 6 weeks to received my item since it needs to clear customs. I waited 8 weeks and still nothing. I contact customer service and was told the same thing. Well 3 months later and several dozen complaints to their customer service department and I still have not received my item. They don't even respond to my email anymore I even asked for a refund but they just ignor my emails. This is a very unprofessional company and will never do business with them again.

Ordered in November, still not received, no refund offered

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I am mad, mad, mad. I ordered a lighting dog collar/leash on November 19, got word that it had been shipped on November 26 -- but no tracking information. I have emailed back and forth many, many times. We have created an email string that would fill a drawer. Some guy named Luke just keeps telling me to wait. First he said,"no refunds on auto-shipped products," whatever that means. Then it was wait, wait, wait. I'm still waiting. I have no intentions of buying from this company again, and hope they go out of business very, very soon. I hate this company!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Live and learn - and I did! I bought four of their "Secret Santa" boxes which were supposed to contain $100 worth of merchandise in each. I got the same runaround about shipping, telling me they shipped and had proof of delivery. I showed them proof from their own tracking. After more than a month, I finally got three out of four yesterday - JUNK. Multiple power cords for mostly outdated devices. I had hoped I could use items as stocking stuffers, but most will probably unusable. Definitely taking them off of my list of places to shop. I don't know if the fourth package will even arrive.

To Moolala's credit...they responded immediately to complaint !

Since writing this complaint, i decided to take the issue directly to Moolala. I contacted their consumer help department listed at the bottom of their sale page. To their credit and my surprise they responded within 24 hours and told me they would give me company credit for the dolls! They did that same day. Remains to be seen if the next items ordered will be satisfactory. Please note: I was reading some of the reviews on Amazon concerning the same dolls....they too were sending knockoffs from China in some cases. Perhaps that is the only way to get those Frozen girls at this point?????  Someone dropped the ball in doll manufacturing or they did it on purpose to inflate the price....!!!???

Never received product and no one responds to vmail and emails

I ordered an item and in the alloted time frame that they said it would ship I received a note that it shipped. I waited and waited. I then sent an email to which I received a response - which in hindsight was bogus. They said there was a problem with the vendor & they would have it shipped now and then nothing arrived. I have called and emailed them numerous times since and no one responds! I even told them I'm ok not getting the product and would take a refund instead. Still nothing!! To get no response is totally unprofessional. Terrible customer service. Will never buy from them again.

Is Moolala out of business?

Purchased $200 vouchers (value $720) for CanvasLifeStyle and they are clearly out of business. Their website is down and their phone disconnected.

I have sent 5 inquiries over the past two weeks to support@***.com with no response other than their automated confirmation. Their phone appears to be disconnected. There is no other way to contact them unless I go by their offices (so happens I live in Austin where they are headquartered).

It's bad enough that the vouchers are worthless but to not get a response from the Moolala after multiple attempts?

Are they out of business....does anyone know?

If you work in Austin, TX, lets contact the Attorney General. Texas is tough and the AG will not tolerate dishonest business practices.

I can be reached at 248-683-****.

The owner of Moolala is google searchable and live in Austin. TX.

His Mobile number is 512-590-****. Lets see if we can get him a small room at the county jail.

Guest

Contact the owner. He is a pig. Josh Chodniewicz (512-590-****) Use a phone number the will not be identified.

Guest

I had same issue for $500 and went to their offices since I too live in Austin. They are gone and don't office anyone there or have a working number.

Guest

They are out of business. They are currently selling all their stock to pay their debts.

Guest

I am one of their jewelry supplier. Moolala fail to pay us for items sold overdue within 5 to 7 months. We are planning to take legal action.

Please contact us as we would like to join the lawsuit. We were a supplier of watches and we were never paid for anything.

Please call 248-683-****. Ask for Mike.

The owners name at Moolala is Josh Chodniewicz (512-590-****)/ He lives in Austin, TX.

I was told by former employees that the only way to get payment is to threaten a lawsuit. We will be happy to work with you.

I purchased the 4 canvases for $99 deal. Went to order my prints today, and found Canvas Lifestyle site down.

I am very upset and confused!

I have emails saved from Debbie a support representative, includes a picture. She was very helpful to me, I sure hope to hear from them soon!

It did state that Moolala was going through "business changes" =(

Guest

Please keep us posted if you go by the office! I'm curious also! I've been scammed by them recently as well.

They don't ship and don't communicate

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I am done with this horrible excuse for a company. The first time I tried to order from them I waited 8 weeks with no communication and no product; finally reversed on my credit card. Bought two things that came through ok so figured it was just a fluke. It's now been 3 weeks since I placed another order and can't even get a response from their support and have been emailing daily. Going to reverse this one as well and block this company. There are tons more options for buying that you don't have to deal with a company that takes your money and then does Nothing.

How to get all your money back from moolala

If you've bought anything from Moolala in the past 6 months call your credit card company and dispute the charge even if you got some items but not others dispute them all. Moolala will have to pay back the bank. Chances are the owners will be personally liable. So call your credit card company. Dispute all charges from Moolala and get all your money back. Guaranteed. Moolala must prove they mailed you product and they cannot since 3rd parties ship it. Chargeback items you received too you'll get your money back and stick it to the owners of Moolala for scamming everyone - A vendor Moolala should have paid

I ordered 9 pairs of yoga pants for $120 total, 3 orders of $40 each. Only got 3 pairs. Good thing I did a screen capture. I complained steadily for three months. No response, not even an email. Three months later I get an email that they had "reorganized." I send another complaint. I am told Moolala will be handling it. The new company says that Moolala tells them I only ordered 3 pairs of pants, not 9. I went to the account screen, and guess what I saw? Moolala CHANGED MY ACCOUNT to show three charges of $15, not 3 charges of $40. Now they won't give me a refund after LYING.
