The car wash cracked my windshield without any prior chips or cracks
When I went through the car wash on 7/7/24 at the moo moo express car was at the hill road location in Pickerington Ohio and as going through it completely cracked my windshield. The crack is over a foot long.
I filed an incident report and they responded after I showed Up at the 86 hour mark. The assistant manager stated that they wont cover it because there is a class action lawsuit out. When I looked It up, the law suit is for 2020-**** telluride models and I have a 2016 kia optima. I went to the home office location due the phones not being turned on when they should be, 9:20 am, and was told the customer service person is in a meeting and that they wont meet me in person it has to be over the phone or email.
She ended up calling me and then getting more information from the car wash location.
When she called me back she stated that they wont cover it because they don't cover windshields due to how they could be chipped before hand. When I asked If they saw a chip before it cracked she said no. I then asked if they had a disclosure anywhere that states they wont cover them, she said no.
All she gave me was a few months of free car washes but my windshield cost $484.16. I would like to be reimbursed for this and cancel my membership.
