UPDATE: I want all who read this to understand two things:
1) I am not bashing this business and
2) I am not saying there is anything wrong with the merchandise. The merchandise from Monster Island Toys is of high quality. DVD's work perfectly, no problems to report.
I intent was to share the treatment I received when we had a misunderstanding. However, the initial misunderstanding was resolved to both parties satisfaction. And therefore anyone reading this SHOULD NOT judge this business based on my experience. In all honesty, this is the ONLY store that I could buy my DVD's from at a price that wasn't outrageous. So all Godzilla fans, DO NOT overlook purchasing from here, I am 100% satisfied with my merchandise, always have been.

On March 31/2013, I ordered DVD's online from Monster Island Toys in Chicago, Illinois. After 1 month of unanswered emails and no indication of shipment, I filed a dispute with my credit card company thinking perhaps I was took. A third email was finally answered on April 29/2013 in regards to shipment. May 1/2013 I was informed that my items had just then been shipped. The charge was already refunded to my credit card by this time. I was emailed by Monster Island Toys threatening legal action right off the bat rather than having a civil conversation about the issue. I was calm and more than willing to work with him. He expected my credit card company to just issue back the money; that's not how it goes. My credit card company was supportive and explained what he(the merchant) had to do. This was unacceptable. There was no civil conversation, no discussion of the options and proper method and no reasoning. His emails became very belligerent and vulgar threatening lawsuit in almost every other email. Then his last several emails were extremely belligerent saying things such as "pay back coming mother ***","this is war ***" and "tell your credit card company to *** you and die." This is the worst ever customer service I have received from someone who owns a business and should be more rational. My wife and I are stunned at his "professionalism" and will never ever ever purchase from this company again. I do not recommend this company to anyone, unless you like being threatened and sued. However, if you must purchase from this company, I suggest proceed with caution. No one, no matter who you are deserves to be talked to so disrespectfully as I was. I do have the entire email conversation which I'm keeping and anyone is welcome to request this conversation so you can judge for yourself. my email is lemay_1985@***.com.
