How can that be I asked, and interesting enough she answered she didn't know, I would have to call customer service. Well...who was she? What was her purpose of calling? All thes complaints are crazy. No of these people full fill contracts or reads them. If you sign a 3 or 5 year contract. Guess what you have to finish it. What happens if you get tired of paying for your car or house? It goes on your credit. I tell everyone READ your contract stop being LAZY.

This Company sucks! A big ripoff!!! I tried to cancel their service because we sold our home. They are still billing us after 2 years!!! I was told, when we acquired this alarm system that i could cancel if we sell. They said "Absolutely!" 4 months later we sold and they didn't live up to their word! I have paid 53.00 per month for 2 years!!!

My parents cancelled about 4 years ago. Monitronics came back and charged them a cancellation fee. 4 years later without any notices between now and then. Southwest credit has started sending letters. My Father passed away at 80 years old last year. Maybe southwest credit should be sending the collection letters to heaven? Tacky! Very tacky!!!! Shameful monitronics

I used monitronics for over 10-yrs. When I switch our phone lines to digital voip, there system wouldn't work. At this point I was on a pre-paid month-month basis. I was a loyal customer for 6 years I was in month to month and I called to cancel service due to a lot of hospital visits and lack of funds, they never cancelled the service and kept acuring a bill even though I wasn't using service said I owed $280.00.
