Poor customer service. Has to keep sending back to get it right, and still do not have my ring!
This is my second purchase from Moissaniteco.com. My first wedding set was a smooth purchase, great product, no issues at all!
But, it was not a custom piece. So, when I decided to upgrade my wedding ring by creating a custom ring (they brag they can create anything), naturally, I chose them. Well, this experience has been a nightmare!
I saw a customized ring of theirs on Instagram, and decided I like the basic design, but I customized it further for me. When I placed my order, I asked for a 3 carat Heart center stone.
Five prongs with a V protecting the point of the heart. I ordered my ring to be completely in 14k yellow gold, including the head with side stones in both moissanite and Rubies. I paid in full. I got my ring about a month later, WITH A WHITE GOLD HEAD holding the heart center stone.
I contact them. No apology, just a cold email with a shipping label and directions to ship it back. I do that, then Im waiting over two weeks to get it shipped back to me. This was twice as long as I was told it would take.
When I got it back on March 17th, it was all in yellow gold, but the prongs around the heart were not spaced properly, and it made my heart look lopsided!
Are these people licensed jewelers creating these pieces? This is their supposed expertise. Why is it difficult to create a professional ring according to a customers wishes? So, I contact the company by email again (no way to get a live person on the phone), and again...
no apology, just an email telling me to ship it back and theyll address my issues. No shipping label this time. I had to request one. Here it is April 4th, and I still do not have the ring I purchased in January.
My wedding ring. I emailed them a couple of days ago because its not even showing its back in production. I got a response saying theyll email me when it ships.
This was my Valentines Day gift from my husband and I have yet to be able to wear it.
This is unacceptable. And the companys inability to apologize for their messing up twice, is even more unacceptable!

Verified ReviewerThey just want the sell! No support at all!
Honestly, if there was a 0 star button, that is what I would give them. Even that is generous.
They have a 30 day return policy, so don't order unless you plan on proposing within that time period. I purchased the wedding band along with the ring. Not only do they not match, they won't even line up together. There is a huge gap.
Next, they are supposed to be white gold, yet, they are shedding the color already. Mind you, I purchased this set 8 months ago. Finally, I have had two stones fall out already, and another is about to go. Granted, they did offer to repair it at no charge, but the turn around time is two weeks.
I would suggest buying from your local jeweler and paying a bit more just for prompt customer service and a much better product. After speaking with them several times about this ring, they have no sympathy or care that what they sell is at best sub par.
- Huge selection
- Dont stand behind their product
- Poor quality

6 month 2 carat ring Stone lost due to setting breaking off!
After wearing my ring for only 6 months and never during strenuous activities. I looked down at dinner and noticed the entire ring had broken off the setting.. it is clearly a manufacturing defect and the company is refusing to do anything about it

Stay far away
I have never had such an awful experience with a company during a time that should be the happiest. I bought my fiancé’s ring in December and proposed in April because of a family emergency and in less then two months the white gold is turning gold like she’s had the ring for years and 2 side stones have came out!
I contacted the company and they refused me a refund only a repair, why would I want to keep getting it repaired judging by the threads it’s not only me that has had issues it’s disgusting they rip people off with poor quality and poor craftsman rings. I am going this week to 2 other jewelers because I went yesterday and one of the jewelers said the entire ring was Moissanite but the side stones were supposed to be diamond.

My ring is beautiful
Above and Beyond
MoissaniteCo customer service was very helpful throughout the entire process. Nowadays it feels rare that you find customer service associates who are willing to help customers and go above and beyond the call of duty...
I truly appreciate the time and effort that Craig and Elizabeth took to educate me about Moissanite and help me find the engagement right ring...I knew I didn't want a diamond, but had no clue about diamond alternatives as there are so many choices out there... They really helped me understand the difference ...
This was a wonderful shopping experience and because of that I will continue to be a customer... And of course, the ring is beautiful.
Couldn't be happier
Devasted in the quality of the ring

Verified ReviewerDefective Moissanite Engagement Ring
My now-husband and I got engaged on Nov 2015. He bought me a round, forever brilliant, halo, 2 carat, moissanite ring because I wanted a "conflict-free diamond" from Moissanite Co.
The ring was beautiful when we first received it. After about 6 months, one of the stones composed of the halo became visibly yellow/dull/cloudy. A few other stones on the band were a bit dull but nothing too apparent or concerning. We took it to a jeweler for professional cleaning and was told the stone has discolored over time.
(Keep in mind, Nov 2015- June 2016 is a 6 months time frame.) I work from home, rarely wears my ring out for errands and date nights. 6/27/2016, my husband submitted a return request to replace the discolored stone. On Aug 2016, he finally shipped the ring back to Moissaniteco. On 8/15/16 The Moissaniteco representative emailed him and asked "which stone we were unhappy with.
On the band or in the halo." They were unsure which stone was discolored. I would assume a professional jeweler would have the appropriate instrument to identify which stone in the halo was the most discolored. My husband has previously discussed this prior to sending the ring back, and we both can see it clearly with our naked eye. 8/26/16 Moissaniteco shipped ring back to us after they supposedly replaced the stone.
After we received the ring, it appeared as if one stone was a tad smaller than the rest around the halo. 9/28/17 My husband had to send another return request because one of the stone composed the halo became cloudy/dull/discolored again. The representative responded: "the previous stone was damaged which is why it was cloudy. If it looks the same again, its because its become damaged.
The price to replace 1x stone, polish/refinish the ring is $25." We were never told by the jeweler the previous stone was damaged, only discolored. We were never informed by Moissaniteco the previous stone was damaged when they received it on Aug 2016. My husband asked the representative if we would be able to return the ring for merchandise credit if we pay the $25 to replace the stone, "refinish" ring. We understand there is a 30 days return policy, but under the extenuating circumstance/since this is happening quite frequently.
The representative stopped responding to his emails. He had to send multiple follow up emails and finally got a response on 10/6/17, which denied the request without further recommendations. 10/13/17 I was standing in line at Costco, looked down at my ring and one of the stone had fallen off. I am beyond disappointed/disbelief.
My ring now has a stone missing and a dull/cloudy stone visible, I can no longer wear it. Even if I'm willing to send the ring back to replace the stone, how many more times do I have to keep doing this every 6 months? I would not recommend this company to any of my family/friends and would rather pay more for better quality/customer services. There was lack of professionalism/miscommunication/misleading information.
Also, the only way to contact them is through emails, there's no phone number available. I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. I expected this ring to last a lifetime as advertised on their website.
I've attached a picture of my ring below. On the Better Business Bureau website, Moissanite Co legal name is: Firecut LLC 5851 W Charleston Blvd Las Vegas NV 89146-****

BUYERS BEWARE
I ordered a ring from Moissanite Co and it came with a little white tag on it. It is solid white, no numbers or anything that appear important.
I requested to return the ring, as I was not satisfied with it, and the customer service man Chris was SO RUDE! He said that you cannot return the ring without the "security tag" on it, even though it is in the way when you try it on. He said "we make the tag small enough so it should not be in the way." The tag should say DO NOT REMOVE, or make it more clear to customers that it is important to not remove. A tiny blank white tase does not appear important.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP! I am now stuck with a ring I do not like.
Preferred solution: Full refund

This is the company response to customer in response to her BBB complaint about the same info We are sorry the ring has been damaged, but it has been damaged. The center portion of the ring has been ripped and broken from the band.
If she can find / recover the center of the ring and return to us all the pieces, our company will pay for the cost to repair the ring as a courtesy. Prior to the damage the customer had the ring modified by her local jeweler which is a 3rd party and unrelated to our company. Having work done by a 3rd voids the warranty as is explained on our website (and is extremely common practice across all manufacturing industries). Therefore although we may not come to an agreement as to whether or not damage to the ring should be covered under our warranty, it is clear that loss of the jewelry isn't covered, nor is jewelry covered if it has been worked on or modified by a 3rd party (as such things can compromise the integrity of the jewelry if not done correctly, which may have happened here).
Unfortunately we won't be able to replace the lost portion of the ring, the center of the ring (by far the most expensive part of the ring) free of charge. It would be like purchasing a high end handbag, having modifications to the purse made by a 3rd party, then having it fall, get ripped, etc. from your shoulder, and returning just the shoulder strap to the store to get a replacement of the entire handbag.
No store would do this. Nevertheless we are willing to repair the ring and replace the center stone at a discounted price (our cost) as we explained to the customer.

I was within a day of purchasing a pair of 7.5 studs from them, but too many negative posts on quality craftsmanship and customer service. I agree, saving a couple of hundred dollars is not worth the hassle.
The only reason I am looking is that I have lost one of my Charles and Colvard studs and need to replace the set.
I have had them for about 8 years without one lick of problems and wore them day and night always. Going back to who I know Thank you all for saving me the troubles you have all had.
