The supervisor and security are screwed up at the security point to go into the venue. Any woman or man who has a wallet with chains and purses with chain straps or big buckles, save your time.

Because of my wallet that had a chain on it, I was told that it could be used as a weapon, and they allowed several women into the arena with purses with chain straps and jewelry that could be used as a weapon. I could either hand over my wallet or leave, and I looked at him and said I will not hand my wallet over to a complete stranger, and I said I am leaving. If you have any of these, save your time and don't bother to have any of these items on you or with you.

Prohibited Items and Security

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone at an event, anyone entering the Arena is subject to a reasonable search. This includes, but is not limited to, bags, purses, coats, and hats.

Guests are prohibited from bringing the following items into Mohegan Sun Arena:

any sort of chains, including wallet chains

anything with spikes (jackets, chokers, boots, jewelry)

backpacks

balloons

basketballs

beach balls

biker jackets (cuts) that have a gang representation on them

coolers

face paint, non-medical face masks

firearms or weapons of any kind

firecrackers

folding chairs

food, except for certain medical conditions

go pros

glass, plastic, or metal containers

glow sticks/LED lights

illegal drugs

iPads

knives

laptops

noisemakers or horns

outside food

outside non-Mohegan purchased alcohol (nips, bottles, all solo cups)

packages or any items the contents of which are not displayed

parcels

Polaroid cameras

professional quality camera equipment

signs (excluding WWE wrestling events)

strollers or baby seats

tablets

umbrellas of all sizes

video or audio recorders

water and/or beverage containers

flags & banners

The venue management reserves the right to restrict any other items that could pose a safety hazard or restrict the enjoyment of another guest. Any prohibited items may be returned to a vehicle or disposed of properly.

At the discretion of venue management, certain items may be left at the bag checks at either entrance to the Arena. Management also reserves the right to inspect personal belongings of a suspicious nature.
