Cancellation of insurance after the work requested was completed.
The insurance company did a drive by inspection of the property and stated that - gutters needed to be cleaned out and that there was *** in the roof. The gutters were cleaned out and the roof had no hole.
It was the rolled on roof had started to curl up. After two weeks of trying to find this hole in the roof. The roof was repaired and I decided that I wanted a new roof after 14 years of the old one. However the insurance company claims that they never received a copy of the repair and cancelled the policy.
Never contacting anyone that the letter of repair was never received. I gave the Roofing Company the fax number of the insurance company. The policy had a lapse and I will have to pay an additional premium for their mistake. They began to claim that due to the roof not being repaired that second, they completely stated that they never said that the roof needed to have holes repaired but that in fact the entire roof required replacement.
There was no waiting until that money tree began to grow in my back yard. There was no time to get another policy, after being cancelled in 24 hours.
