Beware of Modern Services in Parma, Ohio
Brian Varholick claims to fix treadmills. He actually sold me a treadmill on May 28th, claiming (in an email) that "everything runs and functions". When I tested the treadmill in his garage, it appeared to work. However, when I used it at home, it broke down after 15 minutes of use. When I contacted Brian, asking if I could return the treadmill to him and requested he give me my money back in a voicemail, he did not return my call. I then texted him and he then responded, calling me, "Ridiculous". He claimed that, when he got back from vacation on June 8th, he would refund my money and said I didn't need to return the treadmill to him (I have no use for a broken treadmill). When June 12th came around, I still did not receive my refund. I texted him and he did not respond. So, when I shared my experience about Brian's business online, he began calling me, out of control. He left me a voice message stating he came back from vacation, had to go to the hospital emergency room, and (the rest) "is none of your business" (I never even asked what he was doing, I simply texted a reminder to him). He said he is not mailing my refund to a P.O. Box (per my request, as I do not see a reason to trust this man) so, therefore, I am not getting my refund. He claimed, "It was only a fifty dollar treadmill!" Well, fifty dollars means a lot to me, especially for the measly 15 minutes that the treadmill worked!!

I am attempting to remove this comment, however, this site requires a notarized letter (to follow) sent to them. I have resolved my problem with Brian / Modern Services, as he has refunded my money and was sincerely apologetic for not knowing the treadmill was broken. I would do business with him again.
You bought the treadmill from craigslist and the treadmill worked when I sold it . I tested it many times.
Treadmills fail 90% of the time with no indication. I was happy to give you your money back but wanted the product returned. I dont think anyone would just send you a check because you stated that a product stopped working.
I am truly sorry that this didnt work out for you and I tried to call you to resolve this issue but you would not answer my calls.
