Mobilia Furniture - Chair Review

I ordered dining room chairs and when I came to pick them up they were not the same chairs. Then I was told that the chairs that I actually ordered would not be available until after the holidays. The owner seemed to not care and was ready to quickly cancel my order all together. I had to ask if there were any chairs that were in stock that I could look at. I explained that after I received the call from Mobilia Furniture to say that my chairs were ready, I threw my old chairs away. I am having a dinner party Xmas eve at my house and could not be without any chairs at all. I had no other choice but to take a diffetent set of chairs. I am very unhappy. The owner never tried to fix the situation. She was very disconcerning and cared less that It was their mistake and not mines.I will never do business with them again, and would not recommend that anyone else does!!!!!!!

Buy locally?

In July we ordered an expensive bedroom set from Mobilia. It was manufactured by a Quebec company, Eureka. Delivery was expected early in October. When it finally arrived at the end of October the bed was missing! We were told there was a problem and the bed would not arrive until mid November. As a senior with back issues I was not happy sleeping on the floor and Mobilia arranged for delivery earlier in November. The bed arrived with a.long prominent scratch on the headboard.The packaging was unmarked and it is almost certain it was shipped in that condition which could not have gone unnoticed. Back it went! The irony is that we decided to purchase locally despite higher prices to support our struggling manufacturing sector. Encouraged we are not.

Mobilia Furniture - Chair Review from Montreal, Quebec

Found a dining on the site, called the Laval store for information. They told me they didn't have in Québec, that I will have to go to Ontario to get them , or ask Purolator. I asked if I could see a chair before I pay for them and go to all the process to get them. First the women told me know, then somebody in the back said they had some in the warehouse I could pass to see it. I agree and went to the store. Saw the chairs, and asked some information, the salesman told me that the other person will be their on the day after. So I called left a message, and waited. Two days later no news, so I called back. The same salesmen told me that he will check. Again waited and still didn't hear about them. So I called back, the again he told me that the person in charge wasn't their for the next two days, but that he called and the store in Ontario to him that the chairs were damage, and then he told me he will have a photo. The two days later I received a phone call from the person in charge , that everything was fine I could pass to the store. So I pass to the store the next day, when I arrived at the store I asked to see the photo, she didn't know what I was talking about. So the called the salesmen who had told me this. Then he denied everything, and said that he told me that the chairs were sold and then left to avoid any confrontation. So she finally called the store in Ontario to finally tell me that they were sold, and I could have the 3 left instead of the 6. No apologize for the situation , nothing, and the salesman avoid any contact. No apologize, no chair, just a waist of my time and energy.

Technician Service Review

A customer comes once only. He comes second time only if satisfied. I am not satisfied my compaint to attend problem with new sofaZ is pending for long. Technician came and left in hurry because he was very busy. Informed to Mobilia and assured of help but still pending. How can u convince me to buy again from Zmovilia.

Bad service waiting times are crazy to get anything ..Staff dose not know what they are doing and have no answers for you ...Would not buy from them again ...Very very rude staff.Dont let the nice store fool you .Had problems with a sofa after one week and they didnt seem to care after paying a crazy price for it .When i complained about the sofa squeeking they literaly walked away from me . Good luck getting any answers..Delivery charges where exteam also. To bad these stores have such good looking furniture because i will never never buy from them again

surprised because I always buy form the ottawa store. service is good, delivery extremely fast.
