Miss Carolines Wedding Chapel

My husband and I were married at Miss Carolines back in Oct 2006. I am looking at the site now because next year will be 10 years and we want to go back and celebrate.

I can't believe I see any negative reviews about her. She was awesome. We watch our wedding video every year and have nothing but happy, loving memories. Like I said, we are going back next Oct, and can't wait.

This place wouldn't be for everyone. This is for a couple who don't want stress and hassle with their wedding. If you are about the drama, probably need to be married somewhere else. She was awesome.

It was a great time, we loved every minute of it. We can't wait to go back.

After driving 3 hours to reach our cabin on our honeymoon we arrived to find cabins were right beside the main highway and so close they were almost touching!!! The website only shows close ups and brags of "privacy and seclusion".

FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! I asked for a refund (nearly in tears by then) and got it minus and $50 fee (for what???) I will never stay here and be warned when you book online!!!!

Pictures can be deceiving!!!!

Such a disappointment and bad ending to what was supposed to be the best night of my life!!!!!! Luckily we were able to find another cabin for one night only though......

I tried to post on the miss Caroline's website but it has been shut down after the last bad post. U are right about it being about the money.

Who wants to do a toast and cake cutting in their cabin with no pictures. Don't know how this wowan is still doing business. I read someone saying all was great with their wedding and u know I'm sure there are a few but then again it could be friends or family just posting good comments to help her out. All I can say is u can see for ur self.

Ipaid about 650 and she took40 pictures but 4 of the same poses. U hear the clicking of the camera but for Gods sake let's change the pose. But that would have taking to much time. The whole time was about 30 minutes long.

So she is making a good deal of money doing this. And also her teen age son is the camera man videoing the wedding. said it was professionally edited. All we could do was hear the heater running in the background and her talking to her son telling him where to get while we were getting married not to mention the traffic sounds outside u could not hear us saying our vowels on the video.

Made me sad. We are going to redo it n a few years and invite family.

My husband and I got married there two years ago. The chapel was beautiful.

The cabin was very nice. Miss Caroline was professional and patient with us. She did not rush us to make any decisions. If we needed to take a break she allow us to do so.

We also liked it because there were things close by to see and do. One thing I did not like, was that during our last night our neighbor was not respectful of others around them. It was late at night and they were making all kind of noises.

We could not tell Miss Caroline because she had left for the evening. Overall we had a great time.

We had a wonderful experience at Miss Caroline's Wedding Chapel. We did see another couple with an angry groom yelling at people to not mess the paint up on his truck.

Nothing to do with the business here. The bride was grouchy too. But Caroline handled it in stride and professionally. The other complaint posted here about this business is typical of a bridezilla and family.

That is the reason I stopped doing weddings myself. Caroline handles everything professionally and expects that people read the written contract.

Nothing out of order there. Be confident that using this business will be a good experience, we thought so, even after reading this bad review.

My son got married at Miss Caroline's in Maggie Valley NC. Although the service was nice, the wedding was about 10 minutes late getting started because of the bride. Miss Caroline's policy is if you are 15 minutes or more past your designated time, there is an additional $75.00 fee. When I paid the bill before the wedding, I commented on the fact that her clock was fast. She said that was the time they went by. Imagine my surprise when I received my credit card bill and she had charged me the $75.00 late fee! I tried to call and no one answered, so I sent an email requesting a reversal of this charge. She refused. I questioned what she would have done had I paid cash? I got no answer to that question. I have tried 2 emails in an attempt to get her to remove this charge. I received no response to the 2nd email, and the first one said her agreement was with the bride and groom. Then why did she charge MY card? Had I paid cash, would the greedy woman have chased us across the parking lot?

Her website also says that that silk flowers will be provided to the bride, the maid of honor and the groom. We told her we would be bringing our own fresh flowers. She stated no compensation would be given and that we could keep the flowers she provided as keepsakes. We were never given the flowers to take home.

So now here we are. We did not receive our flowers and the woman is trying to charge an unfounded late fee to my credit card!

Do yourselves a favor...get married somewhere else. Miss Caroline seems to be more about the money than about your special day!
