How is your inability to pass a physical exam r that is required to keep your job, anyone’s fault but your own??! Perhaps you should have taken better care of your health, knowing that routine physicals are required for “your livelihood.” Grow up and grow a pair, and deal with the consequences of your own actions.

Guest

So when your poor lifestyle choices and lack of health maintenance results in you losing your CDL, it is someone else’s fault? Look at the Lewserr in the mirror… blame it on him

Let me guess…. DOT physical?

Lol! Probably couldn’t pass the minimal federal requirements, therefore it must be the nurse’s fault! Kudos to the nurse for not letting this jerk bully her into falsifying records and passing him when he clearly failed his examination and has no business being on the road!

Wow, your thorough explanation of what happened and supporting details are astounding. I’m sure you’ll be able to get a proper resolution based on the information you posted.

Minute Clinic - Visit

I had to take my wife in who was very sick in bed only to be told by the nurse Practitioner that the medication she needed cant be prescribed because she is currently not sick enough. Shortly after, I was asked to leave because as the nurse practitioner said I dont want to go through this again.

I guess the response of being told your loved ones have to suffer with the home remedies that havent been working for the last few days. Who knew? Dont they take an oath to help patients? What about ethics?

These are the questions I would be asking the doctor supervising the nurse practitioners if I could find contact info for said doctor.

Ive tried minute clinic and CVS with no luck. If youre sick and your doctor cant see you for a few days, skip this place unless you like being aggravated and throwing money away.

I love how idiots can’t do a 30 second google search before showing their ignorance. The article disproving your claim was posted, but it’s cut off.

How can you be this dense with the wealth of information the internet has to offer? Seriously, 30 seconds on google and you will see that you’re wrong.

It’s a shame that people like you spread misinformation on the Internet. A 30 second Google search reveals you are incorrect.

It may be time for treatment if so cause that’s not normal. https://***/3296****/

Guest

Riiight …. I’m real sure that’s what the nurse said to you.

It’s no wonder you were asked to leave the room. If you are so certain what your wife “needs” then why bother taking her to a clinic, just treat her yourself, genius.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-2112074

Your ignorance is showing. Here in the U.S., regular people can’t just go out and buy whatever prescriptions they want.

Thus, we must go to a clinic where a healthcare professional that is properly licensed prescribes medicine. I’m still cracking up at the first part.

So you’re saying the guy who was there didn’t know what the nurse said, but some random ignorant keyboard warrior does. Thanks for the laughs!

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-2112074

I’m glad you know what was said. So you’re telling me I can just go buy whatever prescription drug I want without a prescription and treat my wife?

What planet are you from? I think everyone can tell who the real genius is from your comment, but it was too funny not to point your room temp IQ.

Your attempt to try and get under my skin failed miserably. It was so ignorant and funny that it only resulted in an ab workout.

Oh so if you’re not qualified to prescribe medications, perhaps you don’t REALLY know as much as you think you do about how to treat your wife’s illness, huh…..

Way off on diagnosis

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The PA was way off on the diagnosis and treatment for my daughter. PA treated as a sinus infection when there was no fluid in the ear and prescribed a Sinus med, flonase and a z-pak. Next day, the pain continued, swelling in the face and off to the ER to be dig'agnosis as dental. Wisdom impacted easy to see. No clue how to treat symptoms and look for the reason just want to send you thru like a herd.

How could the PA possibly predict what symptoms were going to occur the next day when considering the diagnosis? Or as you call it the dig’agnosis… You’re a special kind of special

Guest

What’s a dig’agnosis? And where food you get your MD since you seem to know so much more than the doctor?

Guest

News flash! “Fluid in ear” does not equal a sinus infection.

And just what is a “dig’agnosis”?

Maybe you should stick to your job at Walmart and let the medical professionals do their job. Oh and take your kid to the dentist every now and then so hopefully they will have some teeth left by the time they turn 18.

Just had a virtual appointment for a possible strep throat. Sore throat is listed as a condition that can be covered by virtual appointment. The man said he couldnt diagnose me without a test and to use zinc cough drops. Asked if I could get a credit on my bill if I went in person to the minute clinic to get the strep test done, he said sure. Made appointment for this evening but was told I wont get a credit. They just want your money for no diagnosis.

Actually, the services list says SORE THROAT, not STREP THROAT. If you feel you need to be treated for strep then he is right, you need to be tested in a clinic for that and no, you should not get a refund because you did not read the list of services correctly, you DID get advice on your SORE THROAT which is indeed what they treat via virtual visit, and it is not their fault that you wanted additional service that is not available on that platform. Next time don’t try to get more than what is available to try to save a buck.

Do not Use Minute Clinic for COVID Testing for PreFlights

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My wife and I used CVS Pharmacy's Minute Clinic to get our Preflight COVID tests. The results are required 48-24 hours before the flight.

We chose CVS because--last year when COVID was worst--they processed both of our specimens in less than 24 hours.

My wife's results came in in less than 20 hours, but mine have not and the flight leaves in 4 hours. We understand they said it may take 1-2 days to process, but we submitted the specimens together knowing it might take longer than 24 hours.

The Minute Clinic customer service is worthless. They repeated a script and did not help. No one can call LabCorp and find out what the issue is, or ask for a specimen to be expedited.

Thankfully, I went to Andor Lab and got a rapid antigen test.

They told us it would take up to 12 hours.

I got the results in less than an hour because of their great people.

My wife and I suggest not using Minute Clinic for preflight Covid testing. Use Andor Labs instead.

Let me guess - you did not pay the $139. To have an expedited travel test. All you cheap bastards afford a vacation but do not want to pay what you must to get there.

Guest

If your Covid test was sent to Labcorp then you signed up for a PCR test (which takes 2-3 days), NOT a rapid test which you will have back in less than 24 hours. This is no one’s fault but your own for signing up for the wrong kind of test.

At least you did sign up for the correct test when you went to whatever hokey lab you are trying to refer everyone to (but doesn’t exist in most of the country). Not sure why you feel like no one should go to cvs because of YOUR mistake but whatever.

came in because of high blood pressure readings. Wait 1/2 hour, then took ten minutes to get all financial/insurance info, then call in supervisor to tell me that nothing they can do for me here and that i need to go to emergency hospital.

Took another 10 minutes to train the new employee how to input billing in the computer and then charged me for $159 dollars! For doing nothing except taking down my financial info and ask how I am doing, what my blood pressure were and why I am coming in! CVS clinic is a total rip off!!! avoid at all cost!!

They are not ther to help you! they are there to take your money and then tell you that you should go to the hospital for help! Total scam, total rip off!

I am also filing complaint with the Attorney General office so they can investigate and stop CVS clinic from scamming and put other people health in danger. Please don't be fooled like I am, avoid them at all cost, go to your doctor or emergency hospital, because that is what they will tell you if you go to CVS clinic and then charge you $159 dollar for just telling you that and do nothing for you!!!

At some point your BP can not be managed in clinic, since cvs does not have immediate tests to ensure safety. Idiot.

Guest

Or even better, TAKE your blood pressure medicine and save yourself the $159! And write them a thank you note for saving your life.

Guest

Sounds like YOU were the one trying to pull the scam. By trying to have an emergent medical condition taken care of without having to go to the emergency room and without paying the high cost of emergency room treatment.

Well as you found out it does not work that way. Retail clinics are not equipped to deal with medical emergencies.

If you choose to go there and waste their time with your nonsense, you will get billed … and THEN sent to the emergency room which as you know is where you should have gone in the first place. So make better adult choices going forward.

Guest

What exactly was the “non service”? They checked your blood pressure per your own admission.

That right there is a service that you have to pay for. End of story.

Guest

Nice try. They evaluated you, identified that you were having some sort of medical emergency, and initiated the referral process to a higher level of care.

You PAY for this service. Perhaps next time you will choose to go to a medical facility that is appropriate for the type of problem you are having so you don’t end up being referred to a second place which will also charge you.

Medical care is not free! If you waste their time “checking your blood pressure” or whatever minimal stuff you claim, you still pay for that service!

Complaint

Minute Clinic - Complaint

27 December I had an appointment for PCR test at CVS in Syosset NY on 55 cold spring road. I've arrived there at 10:15 I saw closed sign on the door of minute clinic.

Asked the people who work there at CVS they said they usually open at 09 AM but this morning no one showed up. Well, I waited until 09:45.

They put me in such a difficult situation. I had an international flight the next day and got my PCR test done paying another 200 USD to a place at Kennedy Airport. Not to mention I lost already 150$ and didn't get my PCR test.

I want my MONEY BACK

Very unprofessional. I don't know what to say anymore.

Ever think perhaps the minute clinic staff might have been forced to stay home, due to catching Covid from any of the inconsiderate *** that contaminate their workspaces by refusing to wear masks, lying about their symptoms in order to be allowed into the clinic, and in general having absolute disregard for anyone but themselves? Yeah, believe it or not, it happens.

And at the first sign of symptoms, CVS requires the staff member to stay home for at least one week, if not longer. And no, there is rarely anyone else to cover for that person due to the fact that we are in a PANDEMIC and so the clinic will be CLOSED with no notice. It happens! Make an appointment at another MinuteClinic.

Get your test somewhere else all together if need be. Get travel insurance.

Realize the need for careful planning and flexibility. Acknowledge that due to an ongoing PANDEMIC things will likely NOT go according to your plan and you will need to adjust accordingly.

Guest

If we give you $40, do you promise to never come back here, either?

Guest

The price for physicals is listed on the app and website. Nowhere does it imply it is only $50.

If you know it is “only $50 everywhere else” then why did you choose to go to the one and only place where it costs MORE than that? Right, I’m pretty sure you’re not going to get a physical for $50 anywhere, you’re just a cheap *** trying to scam a medical practitioner out of a refund. Unfortunately this does not work at such places that are well versed in the scams of the likes of your kind. And who needs a “drivers license physical” anyway?

If something is so physically or mentally wrong with daughter that the DMV is requiring her to be medically evaluated, why are you not having her actual doctor do her physical? People who go to urgent care clinics for this type of thing are usually hoping for a quick sign off, while failing to disclose information that would otherwise disqualify them from whatever they’re trying to get clearance for. They know their own doctor will never clear them so they go to an urgent care, hoping to pull a fast one on a provider who does not know them. Thankfully, electronic medical records alert providers to such fraudsters so they can disqualify them immediately for being untruthful AND failing to disclose the conditions that are listed in their chart which is fully visible to all providers everywhere, much to the lying patient’s dismay.

And yes, the patients who try to scam clinics out of “refunds” for services rendered are also reported via their electronic records so all providers and medical offices nationwide are alerted. Hope that $50 you tried to scam was really worth it to you!

Guest

Was there any particular reason you did not click on the Price List when making your online appointment? It is very easy to see that physicals cost $89.

Further, if you were not clear on the price you could have ASKED someone BEFORE accepting the service. You sound like a big crybaby and I feel sorry for your daughter!

Arrived for flu & shingles shot. Rude pharmacy clerk said I didn't have an appt.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Since I was going to off Christmas week for vacation, I went online to my CVS acct at 6300 Johnson Dr, Mission, KS 66202. I had to keep scrolling to find an appt available at my CVS.

Though I had to wait a week, I booked it for today, 12/30 at 12:30. I never got an email or any confirmation #. Only said to wear a mask. When I got there, they couldn't FIND the appt & told me to go home & get the confirm #.

I said I didn't GET one. Same thing happened last year. I said well, since I booked the appt online, it should still be open. She rudely replied "We don't take walk-ins." I said I'm NOT a walk-in, damn it, why do you think I came on my day off if it wasn't booked?" She said "Don't bother booking an appt here." I then called Mte Clinic customer service, who said they can't even SEE the appts!

And I spent almost $7.000 in Rx's here over the past year.

I usually have to wait while other customers are angry with them, too. Hence, the horrible complaint ratings.

Your “complaint” is all over the place. Did you book the appointment with MinuteClinic or the Pharmacy?

The clinic does not have “pharmacy clerks.” You would not call the MinuteClinjc number to complain about the pharmacy. You most certainly WOULD get an email, text, AND confirmation code had you booked through the MinuteClinic.

Bottom line is, it appears you came unprepared, had no idea where you had booked your appointment, and had shown up at the wrong place. Your fault.

Guest

The only flaw with the system is YOU. First, you don’t book an appt from your cvs account.

Simply impossible. Obviously you have no clue what you are talking about. Second, no confirmation = no appointment. No you are not special, you cannot just saunter on in and be seen without a booked appointment.

Oh this happened last year too? Then you are a very slow learner if you still do not know how to properly schedule an appointment, or how to ask for help scheduling one, even though the process is self explanatory and designed for the most primitive ape to understand.

Getting ripped by the “minute”

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Went to cvs in Nashville, was out of Miami on business. Forgot meds so went to get and advance on med for 3 days or so.

I required a refill but one of the meds req refill authorization and my doc ofc was closed.

So conveniently the RN @ minute clinic attended to me poss 10 -12 minutes. Took BP reading and normal.

I simply sought out an authorization thats all I needed, I did not go seeking medical intervention of any kind. So these jokers took my ins info billed me 15.00 copay and now they want me to pay a 124.00 bal. If they werent accepting my ins why in *** did take my co-pay? this bill is in dispute at this time!

CVS bills your insurance. They don’t give you a pre-visit insurance lesson on your plan coverage.

That is your responsibility, and they actually tell you this when you sign in on the kiosk and you check the acknowledgement box indicating that you have read it. Clearly you either have a high deductible plan, or your insurance does not cover visits due to “forgetting your meds” as such visits are not considered medically necessary but instead are to needed to correct your own screw-up.

So don’t blame the clinic. In fact why not show some gratitude as without them you would have been without your meds during your trip!
