Mint Auto Sales - 2011 Jaguar Xj Review from High Point, North Carolina
I bought a 2011 Jaguar and my salesmen was James. He has a bad habit not returning my phone call. He sold me a worthless auto warranty.I tried to take me car to the dealership for a few repairs that was pre existing repairs. When I told my car to the Jaguar dealership the service manager informed me this isn't an appropriate warranty for my car. My daughter called James because he would never answer and he insured her he will replace the warranty once I decided which warranty I wanted. I have now been calling him a month without no return call. I would never recommend the dealership to anyone!!!!
Reason of review:
Poor customer service

Rude Customer Service Review

Mint Auto FW~SCAM ARTISTS!
Searched the internet for a vehicle and stumbled upon their website in Fort Wayne, IN. Found a car I liked so I applied (pre-approval app). To my surprise, they called me that very next morning and stated that I was approved, to come on in for a look at their inventory, find the vehicle I want & drive away today!. I was super happy and rushed on over there to get my new car! Test drove 2 vehicles and fell in love with my new car (2006 Dodge Charger). Filled out all the paperwork, gave them my old vehicle for a trade & down payment. Spent roughly 3 1/2 hours on their lot transferring all my personal property (sound system) from the old car to the new one. Made sure everything was squared away and left smiling and excited! That very next day, got a call from them stating I had to go back in and sign (updated) paperwork since they messed up on prior papers? So, I cooperated and went back to the lot and signed new contract & made sure everything was fine with them and they said it was so I left once again. That very next day, got a missed call from them, they didn't even leave me a message so I was not worried about anything since they stated 2 days in a row that everything was fine and that we were done. On day 4, I wake up to find my car had been stolen! Come to find out, they "repossessed" the car!!?? I called them (after filing stolen car report) and asked them what the deal was. They stated that the lender wanted the car back because they could not verify my employment!!?? Mind you, this is now Saturday morning and no one is open on the weekends to verify if I even exist in USA, let alone prove who I am and where I work!? I ask, "what is it going to take to satisfy this problem so that I can get my car back and get everything cleared?" They said, "well, pay me the tow bill of $50 & prove your employment & you can get your car back and all your personal stuff" So, I spent 3 hours gathering up all documents to prove where I work and some money and went over to the lot to get my car and stuff. Lets just say I lost BIG TIME!! I truly got bent over in this situation & I am in such disbelief that I just don't know where to start with telling society about what kind of business this man is running! Best believe, Fort Wayne & the entire state of Indiana will know what kind of reputation this company has and the lending company they are blaming all their wrong doing on!! word of the wise; DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM MINT AUTO SALES IN FORT WAYNE! there is a couple of dealers with that name here in the city, if you want to know who it is exactly that I am talking about, feel free to contact me or respond to this!

MINT AUTO SALES~Bittersweet business
Went into their business to purchase a vehicle. Had a trade in vehicle~made a deal to trade a 1996 suv for a 2006 vehicle (not getting personal) Got accepted through one of their lenders and signed paperwork and made the deal for the trade and was told "see you next month when you make a payment". Ok, I am going to give the exact dates just so you guys can be just as shocked as we are. Signed papers on 7/18/2012~signed over title of our vehicle and transferred all papers and property to new vehicle. 7/19/2012 went back to their lot to gather more property of ours and sign "corrected papers" they needed done in order to finalize the legit steps to make the deal "done". 7/20/2012~they call us stating that the lender needed us to return to the shop in order to verify and sign even more proper papers. 7/21/2012~woke up to find out the car was "stolen" (when in fact they repossessed the 2006 car that all my stuff was in) no former contact~no heads up about anything like this happening. Called and reported it stolen with police. Police called back and said "civil" matter. Called the dealer to find out why they would do such a thing and they said hey if you pay me $50 tow bill I will give you your car and stuff back. WHAT!? So is this the kind of dealer that can tow cars away from rightful owners to rack up bills in order to make extra cash on the weekend? Did they intentionally RIP the car from me knowing full well that there is so much money in merchandise in that car for their liking!!?? What kind of business takes a car away from a family expecting them to show proper documentation of employment on a SATURDAY knowing *** well that the business office is CLOSED!!? Mint Auto sales just opened their doors not to long ago and I have a strong feeling that they will not be open for long at all!! Never in my 30 years of life have I ever come across a business so SHADY!!!! Once I have more PROOF and once I can truly gather my thoughts, I will return to this site and add more information regarding this establishment!! Thanks for reading and thanks for letting me VENT

I brought a vehicle from mint auto in Fort Wayne. Took a few cars to test drive, thats when i fell in love with my 2004 Cadillac cts..
Drove away and my car started making a noise. Call them and took my vehicle back to get it looked at. Found out I had three times the required amount of oil as well as shot transmission.
They told me there was nothing they could do for me and now im out of a vehicle. I wouldn't prefer anyone to buy a car from them.
ok My husband is looking at a truck from this dealer..tell me what your experience was please.

Enough for me to steer clear of the place
So what ever happen? Im dealing with some issues with them. Gave them 1000 truck stop working 6 hrs later it stopped, gave me a loner kept paying its been a year and im still paying, now its issues i dont know what to do
Sam that manages up in mint auto is a very sneaky scam artist along with the whole bunch of sales men in the Brooklyn lot. They try to scam us out of $30,000 and don't want to pay us back.
They keep calling trying to fight and play games and laugh about it with all their friends in the lot. Then they claim they don't understand what the issue is. Sam is one of the biggest scammers in the lot. Do not buy a car from Mint Auto Sales in Fort Wayne Indiana.
If they don't give us our money back I am going to the news paper along with doing what I can to get the issue posted in the paper along with online. Now I see why they don't have a website or are not even registered with the BBB.
These men prey on women especially to rip off with junk cars that barely make it out of the lot to break down the road.
I bought a 2010 Dodge Avenger driving down i69 my hood came up malfunctioning hood asked for car fax and if the car was in a wreck b4 we almost had to fight please let me kno I will dhelp
The response is indicative of a low IQ -- "***" you "***" can "***" your "***" if you "***" and "***" can "***"!
Sounds just like Mint Auto Sales of Fort Wayne which was recently high-lighted on TV. Low Class.
my daughter was screwed out of a car that she got from them the latter part of February. They came and repossed her car, with the 31 day plate still on it, and told her that she needed to give them an additonal $800 to get her car back.
To make a long story short she was out of the $1800 she put down on the car and a car. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM MINT AUTO!!!
