4 days and 17 dock trucks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We shut down our data center in St Paul and Minnesota Computers provided the crew and the trucks to get this project completed in the 4 day window that we had been given. The customer service department kept us informed on the trucks location and that allowed us to keep the flow going.

We had one issue with the elevator and the crew did not even hesitate to take the stairs until it was back up and running. True professionals.

There was nothing that they could have done to make it a better experience. We will use Minnesota Computers again.

We use Minnesota Computers every time we need to remove the clutter in our data center. They provide all data destruction paperwork and handle all of the shipping.

They have asked we give a review or rating on this site and I said with pleasure.

I have recommended them to several local companies and they have all appreciated the great service.

Great Company to work with

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have done business with this company for several years and ever since they have come into new ownership last October 2015, I am beyond satisfied in the changes this management has made, very impressed, keep up the good work! Their sales team is very knowledgeable and I can't say enough good things about the new ownership.

They have really stepped up their game and go above and beyond to make you feel like you are the most important customer they have. I will continue to do business with this place as it doesn't get any more top notch when it comes to knowledge and fair pricing.

I have the opposite view. I like the former Minnesota Computers team. The new team with Jay Faber as the lead is terrible.

DELL COMPUTERS / MY WORST EVER / WORST SERVICE EVER

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased on line in about March 2015. Sent wrong computer, stuck with it.

Never worked well. Kept calling from April to about August and they could never fix it. Internet (ONLY ON THE DELL) kept kicking me out. Had to restart modem and router 30 times per day.

Can't get service, and warrantee almost up and their answer to that was, "Oh yah. That is why we give you a year to get your computer running right." They hand up on me when they don't know what to do and never call when they say they will.

Don't buy DELL!!!!! It Sucks!!!!!!

Do Not SELL to Minnesota Computers!

I sold Minnesota Computers some computer equipment and it took FOREVER to get paid! I gave it to them for approval, and the salesman told me that they would send a check immediately after the tech looked at the equipment and made sure they were happy with it, I agreed, but after they had it over 30 days no check.

I called the salesman I was dealing with and he said that he turned in the invoice that I sent and signed the appropriate paperwork to get me a check and he would ask accounting whats going on. After another 10 days, nothing- So I called the main number and got the Owner of the company, Richard, he boasted that HE was the owner and he would take care of it right away, just email him an invoice personally,"consider it done" he said, so I did, I emailed him another invoice. After another 10 days, nothing, no check. So I called again, and Richard again answered the phone ( the owner of the company here answers the phone!) and he did not seem to remember me at all, and asked me to send him ANOTHER invoice!

At this point I was getting mad and I asked him what the problem was, and he became suddenly very rude and told me that he was running a huge company that made hundreds of thousands of dollars and many employees to manage and bla bla bla, and wanted anther invoice! Well this was getting to be over 2 months now, and the sales person that I originally worked with told me it was out of his hands. Finally I called Richard again and threatened to report him to the Better Business Bureau, he AGAIN asked me for ANOTHER invoice! ( I swear he was just throwing them away!!) I was really mad at this point, this was wasting tons of my time and MY Boss was mad at ME because we let this company just pick up our equipment on a handshake and it looked like we were NEVER getting paid!

But after the threat, and ANOTHER 15 days, we finally did get a check. I think it was around 4-6 months from when the equipment was picked up to get paid, this is totally unacceptable and very frustrating to work with this type of company, I would warn any company out there NOT to sell ANY computer equipment to Minnesota Computers or YOU will be SORRY and MAY loose your JOB!

Horrible customer serivce. The owner *** is an incompetent ***.

Guest

this company has no idea what they are doing. They are selling wrong PN saying that its correct part even tho part looks completly differnet and does not fit to servers.

Owner Mr Richard did not even bother to talk to me and direct me to Jay Fiber.

I will never deal with this company again. They dont know what they are selling and they try to push *** on you that you dont know what you doing.

Guest

They are shocking and have no ethics - I would not deal with them as far as I could throw them, as for Richard I wont post my true feeling, I will just talk about facts.

1) Lives in over draft

2) No understanding of business ethics

3) Socially inept

4) Never pays bills on time

5) Tries to get out of his bills at any cost

6) Sells non compliant products

Dave posted this same slanderous, false statement on numerous review sites. Dave never purchased a thing from Minnesota Computers.

This is a great company to work for. They have been in business for 25 years and we sell nothing but quality products and have great customer service.

Minnesota Computers went over and beyond. Very honest company. Read below.

Exceptional company. We sold Minnesota Computers 285 systems and servers.

HP, IBM, Dell, Sun and Cisco. Total value $296,500.00. Our company needed to sell these due to down sizing and financial needs. We needed the cash immediately and were assured by Minnesota Computers they would cut us a check within 10 business days of receiving our equipment.

I thoroughly checked out 12 different computer companies for reputation, longevity in business, ratings and reviews. Minnesota Computers came out #1 on all valid reviews and ratings. We required a minimum of 15 references per company. We checked out every reference given to us by all 12 companies.

Minnesota Computers again came out #1. Minnesota Computers arranged the pickup of our 285 systems and servers. I called them when they received our equipment reminding them we needed the money fast within 10 business days. I spoke with the Sales Manager and their owner.

I was assured that upon completion of their audit of our equipment we would receive our $296,500.00 as agreed upon and within 10 business days. 48 hours later to my delight I received overnight a check for $325,000.00 from Minnesota Computers. I called them to ask why they over paid. The owner and Sales Mgr.

told me that after their audit, it was discovered we had more equipment, more drives, more features than what we thought we had and there was $25,000.00 more in value. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and seeing. This has got to be one of the most honest companies I have ever dealt with. The entire transaction was positive and extremely professional.

They saved our company by getting us our money so quickly. (8 days earlier than agreed upon too.)

Been doing business with Minnesota Computers for over 10 years. Great company to deal with.

I have done business with Minnesota Computers for over 10 years and stop over to their facility weekly. I buy systems and parts for my service company.

Quality and high ethics. This is a one of the best run companies in the computer industry I have seen.

They have at least 10 computer technicians on hand for all my needs and questions.

They have a huge inventory of computer hardware.

I would say they have about 35 employees and 35,000 square foot of warehouse and office.

This company is real and legit.

I have been to their facility, met their staff.

If you are looking for a recommendation I highly suggest Minnesota Computers.

Excellent company to buy from and sell to.

Minnesota Computers has excellent quality products and awesome customer service.

Just a note to say how pleased I am with this company.

This review has to be 100 words so I am going to ramble a bit here.

Let's see. The brochure says they have 14 divisions and I have visited their facility.

These guys are the real thing. Huge company inventory. I witnessed 1000's of desktops being processed today. Shelves and shelves of laptops, systems and servers. I am guessing they had about 15 technicians working away when I was there. These guys are real so anyone who says different is not telling the truth.

just Google Earth the address. Minnesota Computers takes up about 80% of the entire building.

I love Minnesota Computers.

I had the most pleasant experience dealing with Minnesota Computers off 169 & Bass Lake Road in New Hope.

I called them up and told them I needed a quote asap to repair 57 PC desktops that came back from our corporate headquarters. All had various internal issues.

The receptionist transferred me to Minnesota Computers Sales Manager who immediately gave me a quote.

He was courteous and friendly and knew the product well.

Upon delivering all 57 of them, they called me back within 24 hours and told me they had all of them fixed and the my bill would only be 1/2 of what they quoted.

WOW! I could not believe what I was hearing.

I highly recommend this company to everyone.

Thanks,

Heidi L.

Minnesota Computers is #1.

Minnesota Computers in New Hope/Minneapolis, MN is our #1 computer hardware supplier.

They have always been courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and my boss likes the free phone tech support they give us on all our purchases.

We did our first business transaction a few years back. We sold them our old IBM AS/400 system for $40,000.00.

They picked up our equipment and within 72 hours they sent us a check for $45,000.00 because there were more features on our system we sold them then we knew about.

That is honesty.

It was that first deal that made Minnesota Computers our favorite vendor and we are located in New York City.

If you want honesty and integrity call Minnesota Computers.

Ask for Jay or Mark. Those are the two guys we dealt with.

A really good business computer company in Minneapolis, MN - Minnesota Computers

I am a local Maintenance and Repair shop here in Minneapolis. I am in the Minnesota Computers offices two to three times a week picking up parts.

I began doing business with Minnesota Computers back in 1997 when I moved here. I can vouch for the size of Minnesota Computers and the vast amount of inventory they have in stock. They are a very large and reputable computer company here in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

The best I personally have ever dealt with. If you want honesty, integrity, low prices and high quality this is the company to call.

I highly recommend this company.

Minnesota Computers Sucks

This company flat out sucks. They have the worst customer service ever and have a very bad reputation within their own industry.

Just ask some of the other companies around if they've heard of Minnesota Computers as see what they have to say. Avoid this company if you have the opportunity to to do and save yourself some major headaches. There are many other companies that sell used hardware that are much better than this company.

Look around on the internet and find someone else to deal with. You will be happy in the end that you did not deal with Minnesota Computers.

Minnesota Computers has excellent service and quality hardware.

Our department has been purchasing IBM AS/400 & RS/6000 hardware from them for over 10 years. They have three or four certified technicians I can call anytime with questions, they have always been polite, courteous and very helpful. We started buying new and used tape drives recently from various manufacturers from them. Every refurbished unit comes to us looking nearly brand new. I browse their ebay store or their website.

Their price is always the lowest and their customer service the best. Our rep said the owner started this business out of his house 21 years ago back in 1987.

Minnesota Computers service is exceptional with low prices, high quality.

Minnesota Computers in Minneapolis, Mn. went over and beyond the call of duty with their service today 8/7/2008.

Our entire system in our company was down this morning when we came to work. Our owner was out of town, we had no idea what to do. We went to google and started surfing. We called Minnesota Computers and their owner Richard Quigley and his technician were in our office within 15 minutes.

They diagnosed our problem, went back to their office and returned with an entire backup system for us.

Minnesota Computers saved us thousands of $'s today.

Change it to, high prices, low quality, and that would be accurate.
