I took out the stone chip and alloy insurance from Mini. I put in a claim for two very small stone chips.
Prestige Smart Repair came out at the beginning of February and completely ruined my door; he sprayed it in the rain. He was very rude; he had no idea what he was doing. Mini say basically it's nothing to do with them, but I think it is, as I bought the insurance from them.
Still not got the problem resolved. Avoid at all costs.

i have written and called over several weeks and nothing. nada.
its like the whole company has gone on leave and there isnt a single person dealing with customer issues. BMW are destroying a great british brand here if this is the way forward.

Worst service ever - MINI YORK
Funny how in a third world country (South Africa) Ive owned 5 Minis over a 15 year period and the service and whole experience is top drawer but when I buy and pay 28500 pounds cash for a new car at York Mini (UK) Im treated like dirt. Cancelled, refunded and never again! Steve the manager is the worst.

Priced repair at 3 times more than another business
Priced repairs on car at over £900 , then got in touch with another garage and was told £375, then phoned back mini main dealer who said ok they would match that price, this is disgusting and a complete rip off
