Great way to get ripped off

The SUV we purchased through Millenium Auto started having problems almost a week after we drove it off the lot. it was obvious that they purposely reset the engine codes. it has had every problem from the heater core failing to the engine itself failing and the so-called warranty is basically worthless.

Transmission broke shortly after driving... BUYER BEWARE

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. I purchased a 2011 4 runner shortly after buying the car I started to have Transmission Issues...

Skip to the fun part Im $5,000 extra in debt due to having to replace the whole transmission on my car. This lot sells Lemons. I reached out to Parker and Chad to discuss the problem and Parkers words were "sorry things happen" Yes things do happen parker but a whole new transmission on a lower mileage 4 runner does not just happen. I spoke to 3 different Toyota dealers and they expressed this does NOT happen and in there 15-30+ years of experience have never heard of a Toyota have to have its transmission replaced so soon.

I was told the wrong fluid was poured into my car. I don't know if this is the works of millenniums mechanics or who they buy the lemons from. ALL I DO KNOW IS this is poor business, The customer service is awful. I paid $20k+ to have a car that is now UNSAFE AND UNDRIVEABLE to have Parker and Chad tell me " sorry you should have bought a warranty".

I didn't purchase a car from them to be even more debt , They sell the cars for cheap knowing they have issues. I would NEVER recommended purchasing a car from them. STAY AWAY BUYER BEWARE. I will be contacting the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU in Hope I can shut them down.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL... PLEASE view another review 6 days ago with a lady that has the same issue has to get a whole new transmission.....

Dishonest sketchy dealership. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My daughter went to them to buy her first car. They sold her a a little SUV that started shaking a few days after she bought it.

They told her to get the tires, and to get it aligned. She took it to Big O and they told her it wasn't the tires that it was most likely the transmission and it was bad. She then took it to Toyota and was told the transmission need to be replaced. They said that the dealership most likely knew about the problem and knowingly sold it to her.

She went back to the dealership and was treated so terrible and left in tears. The basically told her too bad and get out of their office because they didn't want the customers hearing what had happened to her. After looking on the internet we have seen this is VERY common practice with them. They are more concerned in making a dollar and stealing from people come to them to find a good reliable vehicle.

These are horrible dishonest people who don't care what they sell you as long as they get their money. Find a dealership that values people and customer service.

Hello Informed Shoppers!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I'm reviewing from a shoppers point of view because thankfully I was smart enough to check them out and call before wasting my time or setting my money on fire. When I called the person who answered the phone was ok but couldn't answer any of my questions.

When I asked nicely to speak with Brad or Randy because they came so highly recommended online they hung up on me? The friend who was with me decided to call and had a similar experience. I found a lot of stuff online of course. Nothing about this company is legit.

The real name of this company is Dennis Truck Rental And Sales 2 LLC from Utah. They seem to be in the rental business from what I can tell. Then they do business as Millennium Auto Network who sells *** cars (sort of like worn out rental cars) to retail customers. Oh wait!

Now they rent cars weekly for Uber drivers? So they rent cars under one name like Dennis Truck Rental and Sales 2 or Millenium Auto Share then when the wheels are ready to fall off they sell using another name? I'm no expert but this place just screams shady. These guys are all over the place and it literally is a wonder how they're still in business.

It's pretty obvious somehow they have a hookup with Yelp. All of the reviews they show are 5 stars and sound grammatically like the same over excited person.

Needless to say my first impression wasn't a real good one but I don't need to go through what other customers have to figure out there are better places to buy a car. Or rent a truck.

Chad and his unethical team of stereotypical used car salesmen knowingly sold me an unsafe, mechanically unsound vehicle. i need to mention that I had my child with me when I bought the vehicle, so they knew it wasn't just me they were putting in harms way.

Check engine light came on the day after I bought it. Have tried to call and calmly request that they fix the car to have unreturned phone calls. My trusted family mechanic essentially told me passing this thing on safety and inspection was a dirty dishonest bunch of ***.

They finally fixed only the smallest of problems, leaving the exhaust leak and bad transmission telling me flatly they will NOT fix those problems. Bought the car in July, 2017

Resolved: Steer Clear!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I'm not the type to leave reviews but I have to let other know what they can experience from Millenium Auto. First off, left me say that the guys that work there are fairly decent at first. But once they have your sale, they couldn't care less about you. I bought a truck from them less than a month ago. The truck seemed great and I decided to purchase it after doing a bit of research. The first couple days were great, things started to go downhill.

The steering column and front suspension began to creak and clunk so I decided to take it into a mechanic (this is less than two weeks in mind you). They kept it for a few hours and called me back stating that multiple pieces of the front suspension, steering column, and wheel bearings were failing and needed to be replaced soon. They also stated that they found extreme rust in the engine bay and the interior of the frame. The shop said that there was nothing they could do about the rust but said that the truck doesn't have a long life ahead of it. This is a 2007 mind you!

After all was said and done they quoted me just under $1,500 for repairs. I thought that was excessive and took it to another shop, where I was quoted even more. I called Millenium for help and they refused any assistance, and frankly, were quite rude. Once I drove it off the lot it wasn't their problem. Multiple times they told me they would call me back and never did. I assume they did that so they could get me off the phone. Unbelievably poor customer service.

So I'm now stuck with a broken down truck and am over $13,000 in the hole, not including the future repairs. I don't even want to think about the problems the rust may cause.

My advice? Steer clear. All they want is your money and once you're off the lot, their hands are clean.

First of all to respond to this, we had a multi-point pre-owned inspection done at Toyota prior to selling the car, so I don't know why they would miss it then and then catch it later, the hole may have happened from road debris while you were driving. Either way, you never contacted us to try to help fix it, so we never knew about it.

Second, a radiator leak does not mean it was in an accident, it could have been road debris, or anything, but that said, we are subject to the same Carfax report as you are so if something is not reported on Carfax we don't know either. Also what you left off is that you got the price you got was the lowest price on a Corolla in pretty much the whole US! At Millenium we try out best to make sure our customers are taken care of, but if they don't contact us, we can't do anything about it.

Lastly, we can't be held culpable for damage that may have occurred while driving it or something that was missed by Carfax and the Toyota Dealership inspection. Sincerely - Millenium Auto Network Management

Dishonest Sales Practices

I purchased a 2007 Acura MDX from Milennium Auto and have had nothing but costly auto repairs since purchasing. Within the first week, the catalytic converter, air conditioner, and brakes needed to be fixed.

Since then, I have replaced or fixed the sway bar, power steering pump, hands free link (it would not shut off and kept draining my battery to the point it would not shut off ), and most recently the DRL system. When I purchased the car from the dealership, the showed me the carfax and it showed no accidents. Once I started having significant problems with the vehicle, I went to Carmax and had them pull another Carfax. It showed 2 accidents, 1 resulting in frame damage.

They misrepresented the vehicle to sell at top dollar and in doing so, I am driving 5 children around in an unsafe car and paying for repairs I cannot afford.

What a horrible way to do business. Somebody needs to shine the light on their predatory business practices.

To respond to this post, first of all, we were never contacted regarding any of the listed problems. We had the vehicle inspected and serviced by Honda, and as such if there were those problems, the Honda multi-point inspection should have found those problems.

We try out best to sell the best vehicles out there and if Carfax shows no accidents when we have it and a year down the road it shows and accident, how are we supposed to know, we are subject to the same Carfax report and inaccuracies just like anyone else. We do not misrepresent our vehicles, and all customers are welcome and encouraged to have the vehicles inspected prior to purchase which is more than most dealers and private sellers allow for.

Finally we sell our vehicles at wholesale prices and as such do not get "top dollar" on our cars, even though they are in retail condition as good or better than what are sold at franchise dealerships. Sincerely Millenium Auto Network Management

yes...I screwed up... Sorry...

They promised title in the mail the following week. 3 months later still no title. Travis Ward says they will mail it but has not. Now they don't answer my calls.

I can't drive the car because I have no title and an expire temporary tag. They are screwing me over and think there is nothing I can do about it. They are not being honest and not communicating with me.

I do not recommend them to anyone unless they make true on their word.

Buy from Millenium Auto Network - Fantastic Experience!

We were looking to replace our van with something newer and nicer, so I started researching online. I visited a couple of dealerships and had to deal with pushy salespeople, and cars that were not the great value I was looking for. The dealerships didn't have what I was looking for at the price, so they would try to push me into something I didn't want because it was cheaper. From my online research I came across Millenium Auto Network and couldn't believe the deals they were doing on their cars. So I went down there and their salespeople were very helpful and friendly with low pressure. We ended up purchasing a van from them and got the van $3,000 under book value and it was the best deal in the United States.

It was low pressure and we enjoyed sitting and chatting with them in a low pressure situation. The car has been wonderful and we have enjoyed it for our family trip. To top things off, they beat the rate I had with my credit union for financing and saved me even more money.

I definitely recommend Millenium Auto Network and will definitely be back in the future and will be sending friends and family.

Don't buy a care from Millenium Auto Network

Millenium Auto Network is a dishonest dealer. 90% of the cars they sale have frame damage (involved in a serious accident).

These cars are clearly classified as frame damage vehicles at nationwide dealer auto auctons. Because these vehicles are classified as frame damage (been in a serious accident)Millenium is able to purchase these vehicles at a significant discount. They know these vehicles have frame damage but they don't tell you. They claim that their business model is to sale a high volume of cars at very low margins - giving you a good deal.

However, their "real" business model is to sale a lot of frame damaged vehicles at a significant markup - netting them a lot of profits and leaving you stuck with a car that is not worth what you paid for it.

Stay as far away from Millenium Auto Network as you can!!!!!!!! You are not getting a good deal.

I bought a 2012 Honda Accord from Millennium and had it checked out by another dealer, an actual Honda dealership that said it was a good car that was never in an accident. I saved thousands and even saved more because the clear coat had an issue.

I took the car the next day to the dealership and they covered the car under the factory warrantee and they painted it for me. They took it down to metal and re-did the entire paint job.

Yes, I will buy from them again. Very happy customer in Idaho Falls.

Guest

My wife & I purchased a white 2010 Honda Accord LX from them. They were 100% transparent about car being lease return and accident while parked being fixed by insurance as required by lease.

So what.. We got a great price on that car for the exact reason. We've had the car almost 2 years, been great. The brake rotors and pads go pretty quick, but after all investigation, it's a Honda known issue.

These guys took $100 off the cash price for the car when I bought it because of the rotors. I DID get it checked out knowing it was in an accident. The previous comment doesn't mention a specific vehicle. I agree it's a dealer.

I'm writing this because we're looking at another car and these guys are the first place I went back to because of that transparency. You get what you pay for and I will be responsible for what I buy.

Blaming is ignorance. Robert in Chandler.

Guest

THANK GOD someone else out there realizes this. I came across this same revelation, their "amazing prices" only exist because EVERY SINGLE ONE of their cars has been involved in an accident (carfax verified, trust me on this.) Something else I find ridiculous is how painfully obvious it is that everyone at this dealership is behind all the "amazing reviews" when you google search them.

Seriously guys, it's painfully obvious, I'm talking to YOU Millenium Auto. If anyone out there thinking about buying from them is reading this STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

But if you absolutely must check them out, demand to see the Carfax. You will see.

This commentary seems a little suspicious, I think this negative comment comes from a dealer. We encourage our customers to do reviews, so the reviews are real and come from real customers, that is quite an accusation with no support to back it up, because we have the email proof of sending out the review links to customers to provide reviews, what proof do you have to support your accusations, it sounds as if you are a dealer who does that and is trying to accuse us of your practices.

We provide carfaxes to our customers and they are available online for free as well, we have nothing to hide, some vehicles may have an incident on the carfax in the past that we sell, but they are usually minor fender benders that do not affect the value of the car as the titles are clean. Is there a dealership in America that has never sold a car that once upon a time had an accident? I doubt it, also what about a private seller, so if you are selling your car and once had a fenderbender, you should sell it for thousands less than one that didn't? Never the case, the key here is transparency on the vehicles we sell, we allow and encourage all customers to get an inspection prior to purchase which is more than most dealers and private sellers allow for.

So before anyone listens to unfounded accusations, like the comment above, get the facts before listening to someone's unfounded speculation. Sincerely, Millenium Auto Network Management.

Guest

I buy cars that have frame damage and clean titles with no car-fax report from time to time. Not that uncommon, really.

I then fix them and sell them. I do disclose that to my customers, though.

Guest

Thanks Joe, we appreciate the fair commentary, the key is transparency to the customer, we see some very rough stuff that large franchise dealers snap up all the time from auctions and sell as "Certified," the hope is that if one is buying a car, get an independent inspection, regardless of if you buy from a large franchise dealership, Carmax, private seller, or anyone else. Sincerely Millenium Auto Network Management

I traveled 500 miles to purchase a 2008 Honda Accord from Millenium because they were the best price in the US on the car. I did the research and none of their cars had frame damage.

I love the deal I got on the car and it is a great car. These comments seem weird in that they say the cars have frame damage, but they don't tell how they know - didn't you do your research first?

Seems like some shady comments. Just commenting because I am heading up to buy an Odyssey and came across these reviews.

Sold me a car with underlying issues

I am very unhappy with Millenium. I bought a 2007 Honda accord with 40,000 miles. I wanted something low miles that will be reliable. Our agreement when I bought the car was that the battery light would be taken care of. as I drove it off the lot after buying it, the light was on. At first they were friendly, had me bring the car back to fix it and reassured me (multiple times) they would take care of it. I took the car back, they "fixed" it, the same day I picked it up the engine light came on. They "fixed" it, the next day the battery light came on again. They quit answering mine and my Dad's calls once my check cleared. They had told me before I bought it that I had 7 days to return if it I wasn't happy. However, when I said I wanted to do that, they had quit responding. Later that week (last week) I driver the car an hour and a half, the battery light came on and the car quit. The whole reason I bought the car was reliability and it was not reliable. I had also bought the 5 yr/100,000 mile warranty that "is like buying a new car", it "covers everything bumper to bumper". I took the car to the dealer the beginning of this week, and they don't cover this problem.

I feel I have been ripped off. This was clearly a problem while they had the car, but they acted like they didn't know anything about it, even though the light was on when I test drove it.

I wish I wouldn't have ever stepped foot in there; it has turned into an expensive, ongoing nightmare. I would never go back.

Nathan Barrett has the headrests as promised for his 2007 Pilot. It took longer than anticipated to acquire them.

We came through on our promise though it was delayed. No attorneys were ever involved either.

I purchased a 2007 Honda Pilot from Millenium Auto. Before we purchased the vehicle we noticed it was missing 4 out of the 5 read head rests.

We asked Lindsey the sales manager about. He said they could order those and install them. He even signed a written agreement that upon purchase they would do this. We purchased the vehicle Dec 2011.

After repeated emails no headrests. Lindsey is now ignoring my emails. Very dishonest and slimy.

Millenium auto do not trust them. Thank goodness for attorneys.

Millenium

This will be my last comment because I don't want to argue about this, but I do want clarify a couple things. My Dad and I both called Millenium auto, my Dad called at least 4 times. I emailed Millenium Auto the Monday after buying the car on Saturday and I asked about getting a different car because I was not happy with the car. I wanted a car that was going run well, but I never received a response. My Dad emailed a couple times and received no reponsr.  We have copies of  emails and the call logs of when we called. I wasn't set on that car, I jist wanted a reliable car. After not having a response from Millenium, we decided to put some miles on the car to see if it would continue to have a problem. I started on my way to Idaho, and drove for two hours before it quit. One of the calls we made to Millenium auto was from the tow truck as I was being towed the remainder of the way to Idaho. This was within a week of buying the car. I took the car to two shops in Idaho, they found that it was wiring problems, which the "full coverage" warranty did not cover. After taking care of the wiring, i took the car back to Utah and within a couple day the engine light came on. The day I bought the car the engine light came on. I took the car to Millenium auto, they ran a code, and it said it was the catalytic converter. They told me it was fine, that the catalytic converter was not bad, they put some gas in it, and reset the light. I took it into the shop forthe engine light. They found that it was the catalytic converter. It cost $1100 to fix that.

If they did receive and "unclear" message, and wanted us to be satisfied, why didn't they call? We had been in contact and they knew the car had been having issues, and they had our number.

The thing that was so frustrating is that they quit responding to our calls and emails when we had been sold a car with problems. They initially acted like they would work with us. I am not writing to attack Millenium as people, they were very nice, I was just very disappointed with the car and lack of response to phone calls and emails once the check had cleared. It was an incredibly frustrating experience.

As a business, you try your best to please 100% of the people. Over the last 7 years we've sold over 3000 cars with a 99% satisfaction rate.

Rarely have we fallen short. As a Salesman to hear false one sided slander is disheartening. The first negative comment appears to be a competitor trying to do harm with non-specific subjects. For Ginger Price, the 2007 Accord, we held the car for her for 2 weeks after she cancelled her check without notifying us and left the car on our lot.

She had the oppurtunity to get a different vehicle at any time. The car was inspected at customer request by a Honda franchise mechanic twice for alternator issues,we put in 2 alternators as well. After, no errors could be found. They requested a service contract which covers all things mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions and have kept the policy.

After the second time she bought the car, I did not recieve phone calls from her. Her Dad in Idaho left 1 unclear message on my voice mail and I heard nothing more. I assumed that it was resolved. All in all, I had given her multiple oppurtunities to change her mind and get one of the other Accords.

She wanted this specific vehicle. We ended up after our efforts not profiting on the car. She was at liberty to exchange it for a different Accord after the further issues, but she did not come back again nor did Ginger herself make any attempt to contact me whatsoever. I'm sad to hear the vehicle had issues further.

This is very uncommon with Honda Accords as most people know. Many people have sent gifts, cards, and hundreds of referrals to me I have many loyal customers, as I do my best to satisfy my customer within realistic expectations.

I pride myself in being the antithesis of the typical car dealer. I'm sorry to hear that after many efforts for Ginger she remains unsatisfied.

MILLENIUM AUTO NETWORK, Draper, UT, LIES- DO NOT BUY

Do not buy a car from MIllenium Auto Network. There prices seem better than you find elsewhere because they conceal issues with the cars.

When you discover the problems, they deny knowledge of any issues & refuse to work with you/compensate in anyway, leaving you on the hook for costly repairs. These are issues that would be reported by a previous owner on any trade-in and assuredly result in Millenium pricing the car lower. Millenium is your typical shyster, used car dealers!!! They have no business ethic or integrity in working.

After reporting our problem to the owner, Ben, & being promised a call back by owner, no call ever came. After WE had to call back, the owner would not speak with us & left it to his minion salesman, Lindsey, to give us the brush off. They didn't care about our dissatisfaction or coming to any amicable agreement. THEY JUST CARE ABOUT GETTING YOUR MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS ANYWAY THEY CAN.

CHEAT LIE & STEAL.

Shame on them! Don't make the same mistake we made & steer clear of MILLENIUM AUTO NETWORK.

Still one of the worst dealerships in Arizona. I'm pretty sure they write most of their own reviews and somehow they have something worked out with Yelp.

Every other site online at least gets mixed reviews but tons of customers (who all sound the same grammatically) seem to have nothing but fantastic things to say?I'm reviewing from a shoppers point of view because I saw the signs and these guys are screwing people over.

I can't figure out if they're renting cars or selling them either? Maybe they rent cars till they fall start to fall apart then sell them???

By far one of the worst dealers in Arizona they buy Frame damaged Priuses and then price them lower then the honest dealers out there selling non damaged vehicles.... Thankfully I figured that out prior to buying and ended up buying somewhere else. Buyer beware of what you get in return for saving a little money!

We bought a car from Millenium in Draper. We bought it in December.

A week later we took it to Arizona on vacation. The Air Conditioner didn't work! When my husband bought it, he had noticed, and the salesman said to bring it back if there was a problem. Well, like I said, we live in Utah....

And, we contacted them, and they said they would order the part, but we never heard back from them. My husband read all these reviews and figured they would never fix the car. In APRIL, I finally brought the car in to the shop. They still had the part, and fixed it!

No problems. The air works GREAT. (I get kind of cold!).

Thanks Chad! Cindy
