- - Permits were not obtained; no city paperwork was filed; do not hire Milestone Design & Development.
Milestone Design and Development in Sherman Oaks was hired to build an ADU on my property for disabled great-grandparents to have a permanent home to live in. After almost a whole YEAR they never even obtained permits.
They never completed the plans and specifications all the while telling me things were progressing well and "not to worry the build will start soon". They blamed the lack of progress on the city building department but when I checked with the city they had NOTHING substantial and no paperwork had been officially filed!
I believe they put us on the back burner because it was a small lower dollar project as they have multimillion dollar contracts that are far more important to them. DO NOT HIRE MILESTONE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT!D
