Can't get my motorhome back.
I am a widow, almost 70, who purchased a class c used motor home.I brought family with me to help me out. I paid for it in cash,signed paper saying I took delivery.
A few things needed to be fixed so I left it there. I never got to drive it off the lot. I went down there again with family to check on rig. None of what needed to be fixed was done.
So my family and I visited my rig. I called a few weeks later and talked with my adviser, Rick,very nice. Rick said he would talk with his tech and call me back (lol). Called and left msg for Rick to call me again.
They have had my RV for over a month. Next move is to talk to the manager and send complaint to BBB. This was on my bucket list...who knew !!!!

Poor customer service
Purchased a new Forest River Class C motorhome.
Sales people were great. Our deal was not easy.
Walk thru upon delivery was very basic. What the rep didn't know he said was in the owners manual. Manual was outdated. Was told that it was my responsibility to get an updated owners manual. Same thing about the stereo.
I would suggest that you do a very through walk thru and check out. Check all manuals and paperwork to see that it is current. DO NOT take delivery until everything is in working order. It could take weeks just to get something as simple as a toilet seat fixed.
There is no such thing as customer service after the sale.
2014 Roadrek Agile....awning repair not done properly and within reasonable time...nearly 3 months now.
2014 Roadtrek Agile...delivery date on rig was Jan. 22, 2015.
Upon picking up rig and walk through, Alejandro demonstrated the awning and indicated that it did not extend properly because if had just be washed. A few days later it still did not work properly. A couple weeks later Mike Thompson, Fountain Valley replaced the motor. When I picked up the rig and Rob Knudson demonstrated the awning it still did not work unless you manually pulled the awning out a few inches to get it started.
Rob indicated that the technician had written a report that it needed another part but that Rob did not notice and had me pick it up. Rob indicated that the part would be ordered. A couple weeks later, Rob called and indicated that since there was an issue with getting the part approved, Mike Thompson would cover the part and since it was a local company the part should come in very soon, 2-3 days. A few weeks later I left a voice message and it was not returned.
A couple weeks later I left another voice message and it was returned a few days later. I was asked to bring the rig in to have the part photographed and the serial number recorded. So, now it is April 15.....the awning has needed repair since Jan. 22.
The explanation this time was that the warranty guy was fired.
Nearly three months now to have an awning fixed and it is still not done. Will see how it is handled tomorrow morning.

After 6 weeks of waiting and 6k in repairs our 97K forest River RV was returned in horrible condition. No walk through to confirms repairs just pay the cashier and we will pull it around.
After walking into the RV were shocked to see that no prep work was done before starting the body work. the interior was covered in dust and paint over-spray from the repairs done. The quality of the repairs were even completely below par. When we complained to Eric Moreno is the service dept.
He said that " we brought it in dirty and we should have been ashamed of ourselves" I have video of the interior and the photos of the poor repairs.
If your in the market for an RV shop somewhere else.

I had the guy I was buying an RV from take it to M.T. R.V for pre sale inspection,,he came back with a cx list,and it was cxed off as everything worked,,no one signed it and wasn't dated,,turns out 6-8 things didn't work,,took it back to M.T R.V.
and they had the guy who did the inspection talk to me,they ended up making a joke out of it,,it's a 86 dolphin,so compared to those beautiful coach's,it was a joke to them.
Sent a detailed letter to a manager named Bob,and left 2 message's for him to call me,,never did!! M.T.,,was it worth someone like me who knows everyone locally to tell everyone I meet,don't do business with M.T.
