Can't get my motorhome back.

I am a widow, almost 70, who purchased a class c used motor home.I brought family with me to help me out. I paid for it in cash,signed paper saying I took delivery.

A few things needed to be fixed so I left it there. I never got to drive it off the lot. I went down there again with family to check on rig. None of what needed to be fixed was done.

So my family and I visited my rig. I called a few weeks later and talked with my adviser, Rick,very nice. Rick said he would talk with his tech and call me back (lol). Called and left msg for Rick to call me again.

They have had my RV for over a month. Next move is to talk to the manager and send complaint to BBB. This was on my bucket list...who knew !!!!

Poor customer service

Purchased a new Forest River Class C motorhome.

Sales people were great. Our deal was not easy.

Walk thru upon delivery was very basic. What the rep didn't know he said was in the owners manual. Manual was outdated. Was told that it was my responsibility to get an updated owners manual. Same thing about the stereo.

I would suggest that you do a very through walk thru and check out. Check all manuals and paperwork to see that it is current. DO NOT take delivery until everything is in working order. It could take weeks just to get something as simple as a toilet seat fixed.

There is no such thing as customer service after the sale.

2014 Roadrek Agile....awning repair not done properly and within reasonable time...nearly 3 months now.

2014 Roadtrek Agile...delivery date on rig was Jan. 22, 2015.

Upon picking up rig and walk through, Alejandro demonstrated the awning and indicated that it did not extend properly because if had just be washed. A few days later it still did not work properly. A couple weeks later Mike Thompson, Fountain Valley replaced the motor. When I picked up the rig and Rob Knudson demonstrated the awning it still did not work unless you manually pulled the awning out a few inches to get it started.

Rob indicated that the technician had written a report that it needed another part but that Rob did not notice and had me pick it up. Rob indicated that the part would be ordered. A couple weeks later, Rob called and indicated that since there was an issue with getting the part approved, Mike Thompson would cover the part and since it was a local company the part should come in very soon, 2-3 days. A few weeks later I left a voice message and it was not returned.

A couple weeks later I left another voice message and it was returned a few days later. I was asked to bring the rig in to have the part photographed and the serial number recorded. So, now it is April 15.....the awning has needed repair since Jan. 22.

The explanation this time was that the warranty guy was fired.

Nearly three months now to have an awning fixed and it is still not done. Will see how it is handled tomorrow morning.

I had the guy I was buying an RV from take it to M.T. R.V for pre sale inspection,,he came back with a cx list,and it was cxed off as everything worked,,no one signed it and wasn't dated,,turns out 6-8 things didn't work,,took it back to M.T R.V.

and they had the guy who did the inspection talk to me,they ended up making a joke out of it,,it's a 86 dolphin,so compared to those beautiful coach's,it was a joke to them.

Sent a detailed letter to a manager named Bob,and left 2 message's for him to call me,,never did!! M.T.,,was it worth someone like me who knows everyone locally to tell everyone I meet,don't do business with M.T.

After 6 weeks of waiting and 6k in repairs our 97K forest River RV was returned in horrible condition. No walk through to confirms repairs just pay the cashier and we will pull it around.

After walking into the RV were shocked to see that no prep work was done before starting the body work. the interior was covered in dust and paint over-spray from the repairs done. The quality of the repairs were even completely below par. When we complained to Eric Moreno is the service dept.

He said that " we brought it in dirty and we should have been ashamed of ourselves" I have video of the interior and the photos of the poor repairs.

If your in the market for an RV shop somewhere else.

Eric Moreno is a *** artist and should be put in jail for what he did to my grandparents! Ripped them off for work on brand new RV at Mike Thompson Santa Fe springs! Beware of Sales People and Service Department.

They bait and switch to get you in to their sales department

Today 4/12/15 I called the fountain valley store looking for a Thor Outlaw 550 super "c" I talked with Steve who asked that I give him 10 minutes to check to see if he had one, 5 min pass and I get a call from Larry who told me he had checked and he did have a 550 OutLaw and also a reg C and a class A Outlaw. Larry who was very quick to point out he was the only Larry there told me to ask for him when I got there. 1.5 hours in traffic to get there the waiting 1/2 for Larry only to have him point me to a non toy hauler 550 not an Outlaw.. He said owe I mad a mistake! In addition to wasting 4 hours of my day I have to tell you that I looked in several "new" motorhomes that looked so worn and dirty that I thought they were used. They have lost the opportunity to earn my business I can Imagine how poorly they treat you after the sale! Update 4/20/15; ok here is an update; today 4/20/15 I get a call from Steve, he says "about the motorhome you and I were talking about yesterday" I said are you joking? it was more then a week ago when you turned me over to Larry and your just following up today?? and apparently Steve didn't even follow up that day with Larry. I told Steve that I wouldn't do business with a company that is run this way....Steve said "sorry you not more forgiving" what a joke! not sorry we jerked you around and you lost all of those hours of your weekend, not sorry no one has called you back before today! buyer beware! if you like to be treaded this way when you make this major of a purchase then good luck.

Mike Thompson RV was the worst company to deal with right from the start. Cory Halterman really is the biggest *** of them all. Offering $9k for the travel trailer I took off their Fountain Valley lot 6-12/15 I told him to write his bid in an email and his reply is I don't want it. Slime!

Cannot fix problems and lie about repairs, same problem with three trips and not solved. This will become a lemon law suit. Service advisor admitted he never worked on RV's and got the job because he knew people. Stay away from his place. Last repair motor home was returned with dead batteries so I could not leave. It has been there for the same problem 3 times and not resolved. When I complained to the G/M he threatened to hang up if I did not stop complaing. My MH was returned with dirty carpet and dead batteries. This dealership just does not care.

If this is the thompson rv located in streetsboro, they are absolutely awful. They never show up when they say they will and the do shabby work and dont stand by their word. I will never use them ever again!

Sold me a in motion satellite system and could not figure out how to get it running

They had my RV for 3.5 weeks and said that it was ready. When I asked them to show me how it worked, the service manager was unable to get it to work. He called the worker, and he was caught in a lie about whether it was working or not. However, they gave me the RV back and I had to hire an outside Satellite installer to get the item to work. If you buy from these folks, please protect yourselves and don't accept an incomplete product. Once you sign the contract, they do not care whether you have a workable product or not. Beware of these folks. I like my RV, but I wish I was able to deal with another dealer. Think twice about dealing with these folks.

BEWARE!!!!! They lie about service and repair being done. My coach sat at the La Mirada Location for 8 weeks and not all work was done even though they told me it was. Work they did do was poor. Needs to be done by a professional. Go to Giant RV instead

Terrible business practices

I bought the motorhome from the pomona RV show and was promised several concessions from Mike Thompson's RC . It was late for delivery and was not a completed RV. Getting a TV Antennae for direct, it has been in Fountain valley for three weeks. The lost my info and the RV, Tech lied about finishing the work, 3 1/3 weeks later went to pick up, and it did not work. Still have not received it back yet. You need to check everything they do, make sure everything is writing down, and do not take their word in the service department for anything.

Don't Buy anything from Them

Purchased a used 2006 RV..Before getting 188 miles on it since it was purchased, had a number of additional issues which took them over 3 weeks to repair. In order to make this RV usable, had to go to an outside source for other repairs. Sent registered ltr of complaint to Corp Hq in Santa Fe Springs on 2/27/15. Got called on 3/3/15 but was out of town. Returned on 3/3/15 and called the GSM, John Black. VM several times before he returned my call. Explained the problems and told him that the vehicle I purchased might have been a theft or flood vehicle.. He said he'd check and get back to me in a couple of hours.. that was on 3/10/15. Today is 3/18/15 and my calls and 'e mails have been IGNORED.. Outside source again for repairs. I'm taking action to notify the Bureau of Automotive repairs; Better Business Bureau, then an Attorney..DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM..

This dealer is not customer oriented. I had a call from the "sales manager" tonight regarding one of the sales people. I can't believe these people!!! I wasn't asking for the best price or to match the price of a dealer in Northern CA; I was asking for a reasonable price. His answer without asking me ANYTHING about what I was looking at was $68,995. It obvious Mike Thompson doesn't want to sell or deal with anyone. I hope I never hear from them again or the "Semper Fi" person I was dealing with. I would buy something from Joe's RV (no name) than Mike Thompson RV. Period...end of story!!!
