- - Advertised price was $99, but $700 was charged.
- - They offered a $90 drain-treatment jar and billed it.

Incredible scam!! We had a drain clogging our kitchen sink.
According to their advertising it should have cost $99. But Mike Diamond does not send plumbers, they send conmen who are trained to take advantage of women and to create work that doesn't need to be done. When they were done they wanted over $700 for the work that they had done. How long did it take them to do $700 worth of work?
30 minutes!! That comes out to $1500 an hour! They wanted to sell a little jar of biological drain treatment to my wife for $90. She said no.
They left it anyway and added it to the bill. I complained and supposedly am getting a check in the mail to refund my $90.
To top it off, when they left we discovered that they had caused a leak in our water filtration system that wasn't there before. They had to come back to fix that.

UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR BY TECHNICIAN
- - Lee quoted $800 Freon, $1,700 blower motor, or $21,000 unit, without furnace diagnosis.
- - AC works; furnace board fixed elsewhere for $660; no Freon.
My AC was not working and technician Lee made three recommendations to resolve the situation - add freon for $800 and replace furnace blower motor for $1700 or replace unit for $21,000! However, HE NEVER EVEN CHECKED THE FURNACE to actually diagnose that the blower motor was out.
And the actual AC unit was operational. He recommended putting in Freon while the lines of the unit were frozen! Unethical and fraudulent. I reported this tech to their Costa Mesa, CA office and all the mgr said was that he needed to know what kind of day Lee was having.
How about asking him how many people has he ripped off in his 9 years with the company?! I called out another company who found the furnace board to be bad and replaced it for $660 parts and labor!
And no Freon needed. My AC is now working NO Thanks to Mike Diamond.
