Harassment from Midwest title loan

I took out a loan from Midwest Title Loan. I was making my payments until the Coronavirus Pandemic. My wife was laid off and I explained this to Midwest title loans. which means I couldn't make payments. The governor of Il. made it illegal for repossessions of vehicles. They were calling me at one point 4 times in one week asking me about payments. These people would even call my references just to be ugly knowing that I was keeping in contact with them. I even got a Repossession letter from Midwest title loan they knowingly that the governor put a freeze on repossessions during the coronavirus pandemic.I talked to the regional manager to attempt to get a pay off amount where she would over talk me in a very ugly manner to the point I intervened and told her I was the customer and I don't deserve to be talked to in a disrespectful way. She was so mean spirited at me she hung up the phone on me.I was forced to send them a Cease and Desist letter to stop the harassment. I need to get some sort of advice because they are charging me high-interest rates because of not paying the note.

The only good advice is not to take out a stupid loan like this. This is too late for you.

Here's the thing, unless you have a pandemic exception in your contract,t they will call and try to call and get their money. You knew this when you signed. You should get your @#$# out of your car,they're coming for it. The lesson to others, DO NOT take out stupid last chance, bad credit title loans.

P.S.

You have a was to post this nonsense, cut it off, and use the funds to pay your note. "You must work for them"

Calling every day when in bankruptcy

I was making my payments lost hours at work and couldn't pay anymore my rent is more important to me. I have filled bankruptcy on this and they still call me and my husband everyday. Said they will not call to veriy that it is in bankruptcy so they just call and bother all day all.

Midwest Title Loans in St. Joseph Missouri already made over 300% from me being a good customer for over a year which I didnt mind but Stealing my Vehicle leaving my 7 year old and I Stranded in of all places Nebraska!

lol Why not at a local grocery store???????? If I would of caught em driving away it could of been a diffrent situation not knowing who they were!

Midwest Title Loans in St. Joe Missouri Reposed my Vehicle without giving me and my 7 year old a chance to retrieve our personal belongings. After taking out 4 previous loans with St. Joe Midwest Title Loans 64507 on South Belt Highway. I was treated like a king being offered more and more money each time I repaid them. Only a couple months behind on this last Title Loan at Midwest Title Loans in St. Joseph Missouri I dropped in to pick up my son in Falls City Nebraska at my sisters house in sub-zero temperatures we came out to find our Vehicle gone and Repossessed by Midwest Title Loans of St. Joe Missouri. (64507). I felt used, ashamed, and pissed off at the time! I paid them thousands of dollars of 300% Interest and thought I was a good customer of Midwest Title Loans of St. Joe. Missouri. How is 304.17% apr legal!? How can they charge consumer 13000$ for a 2200$ loan?

you all people dont understand how this works now days...

im a repoman myself and how would you like it if i repo your vehicle after you were late 2 days, is that fair? sometimes people forget but banks and other institutes are looking for this to resale your vehicle and make more money...

Get into the repo business so you all can understand the process

Just based on what you are saying, they did everything that they were allowed to do. And if you pay your bills, this won't happen. It may seem wrong to you but they are in business to make money, not take care of people.

Let me understand this correctly. You take our a loan on a car and don't pay it on time.

They then come and reposses it and you get mad.

Really? Make the payment on time and this won't happen.
