Tent Sale turned into No Sale

My husband and I went to a tent sale with many dealerships available there. I had received an email to talk to Zach at Midway Chevrolet. We never saw Zach. We were helped by Ben who was very nice and helped us look at cars. We decided on a car that was advertised at $12,422. When he came back with the numbers it was priced at $13,999. When I asked why it was different, he said he was trying to 'help me out' - WHAT?! Oh did I mention it was 26.99% interest? We gave him our bottom line and he brought his manager over. He proceeded to talk to us and my husband used to work for Van Tuyl so he knows the whole process. He asked the manager if he could meet our deal and the manager said, "If I could, I wouldn't be talking to you." My husband stood up, reached out his hand to shake the manager's hand and said,"Thank you for your time." The manager just stared at him and my husband said "fxxx you & don't shake my hand then - typical Van Tuyl dealership" shame on us I guess. It won't happen again that's for sure!
