Midnight Velvet Takes Your Money and Never Delivers Products

Horrible horrible company!!!!! This company takes your money and never delivers products. I ordered a gift certificate and winter shawl in November 2021 and have yet to receive them. I'm told they might come in July of 2022. What takes so long to deliver a gift card??????? I've reported them to the NYS attorney general, BBB and am letting people know in reviews NOT to order from them. What a rip off!!!!!!

0 is only way to rate

Received a package which was never ordered. Returned product and advised it was never ordered. Paid $10 in shipping expenses. A month later received another order. Returned it unopened. Paid $16 in shipping expenses. That was in October. Now receiving calls and overdue notices. Why these packages were sent, we don't know. We didn't order. We have receipts and tracking notices with confirmation of their receipt of packages. At this point, we're considering this to be harassment. Our next phone call will be to the BBB.

Charge for merchandise I did not order

Some one has been ordering items using my account number. It is on my credit record. Midnight Velvet is reporting it in my name and in the other persons name. They also have two addresses and two telephone numbers. I have asked them to remove it but they havent. If they have allowed someone else to charge to my account with out my permission thats their problem but they shouldnt put it on my credit record. I will not purchase anything else ever again. It is a mess trying to get my name cleared. This person has purchased from Montgomery Ward and Seventh Avenue using my account number. Dont do business with them. It is a mess. Im losing sleep over this.

Preferred solution: Make corrections on my credit record to all credit bureaus and stop putting aka. I am one person and is only known as my LEGAL name. All other names are frauds. All other addresses and telephone numbers are fraud.

Never recieved all my order

Some parts of an order hasn't shown up and I will give a couple of days to see what happens.I just thought the whole Order would come together .I'm awaiting.And I'm looking forward to order Items in the near weeks to come love the fashions!

Haven't received my order

I ordered XL items and I returned them for large to be mailed back to me since November and up until now I did not receive those items as I needed them for Christmas.

I called in on August 12, 2021, regarding my account to the credit dept. Rep in credit dept, was extremely rude, very unprofessional and overall had a nasty attitude. I called back later that evening, to be connected to customer service. I was connected to a very pleasant and helpful rep by the name of Jerome; only to be told he was a supervisor. He was extremely helpful and listened to my concerns. Jerome, quickly, explained things in detail and put my mind at ease. He handled my issue in a timely manner. People like Jerome are an asset to this company.

I ordered from Midnight Velvet and wanting to open a credit card account Midnight Velvet ran my credit report. I made monthly payments before due date and on the 2nd month decided to order another item. To my surprise Midnight Velvet ran another credit report on me, without my approval. When I called customer service I was informed that each time I made an order a credit report would be obtained. Running crew reports lowers your score by 2 points each time. I immediately paid off the balance and closed the account. Customers beware of this practice from Midnight Velvet.
