I had the exact experience with the same faucet. They refused to honor their warranty because we bought it at Expo. Paid a fortune and got a lemon of a faucet. It leaked it spit and pissed me off everyday. Just put in a Moen. Half the price with twice the performance. Never buy a Mico

They absolutely should be investigated by the Better Business Bureau. They refuse to return my money after I returned their part.

Having read all the negative comments about them on the web makes me wonder how they can continue to be in business. Try calling their two phone numbers and you’ll see they don’t even bother to answer their phones. My appliance supplier has stopped doing business with them.

And Micheal continues to play the old check is in the mail game. I’m contacting the Illinois attorney generals office and asking for support in investigating this company.

Mico Faucets

Spend $457.00 for a quality faucet from EXPO but it turned to be a defective lemon, started to oxidize, the finish turned spotty copper colours, poor service by Mico refused to exchange it. Store of purchase was EXPO went out of business, MICO said was EXPO's responsibility, what a joke. They do not seem to stand behind their products. I will notify the original manufacturer in Italy. The importer of Mico products in US is a joke. I will not buy another Mico product. Stick with American made from now on. American companies have excellent service. Buy American.

DO NOT BUY MICO!! They all either leak or have a defective finish.

The absolute WORST Customer service imaginable. They will not back up the product and will do anything to avoid honoring a warranty.

I had a similar experience. I purchased a $700 kitchen faucet with sprayer.

The sprayer stopped working within a year. The Mico service is terrible. The Mico technician lied about ordering a replacement part from Italy.

I e-mailed the owner to complain(Michael)and he never responded. DO NOT BUY MICO PRODUCTS!

I had a similar experience. My very expensive Mico is a Piece as well. Do not buy this brand, they do not stand behind their "lifetime warranty"

Nearly a $1000 faucet, ceramic parts broke within a year. Cant get parts.

Not user friendly, poorly designed, replaced with a common brand $150, a lot more features and lifetime warranty. Best that can be said is there is some brass in the Mico that could be sold by weight. Criminally overpriced, deceptively represented junk.

You get what you pay for? Not with Mico!

Same here! This Mico product is a real joke!

We as you purchased it at the same out of business Expo. Our product is a kitchen faucet of the Shoreline collection, it had a defected handle and unknown to us the water was spraying all over the place that it damaged our cabinet. the spray wat so minute that it was only discovered after the cabinet wood showed signs of mildew. We called the customer service of Mico in the USA.

They told us that it wasn't their fault and that can replace the defected part at our expence which would be $85. We have no choice (i thought) so and they gave us the number of a retailer in the Bronx called Central Plumbing Supply Specialty. We placed the order on 8/1/11 and three months went by with excuses ranging from the Italy company being on vacation to having the piece in question made by hand. finally on December 1, 2011 I asked for my money back of the replacement and went to COSTCO and purchased a complete kitchen faucet for less than $70.

Went home threw the Mico product in the garbage where they belong.

Now I have no leaking faucet but I need to replace the cabinet underneath.... Thank you Mico!
