AI Highlights
  • - MSHDA allegedly baited me to foreclosure and bought at sheriff sale.
  • - They lied about redemption; held 17 months, leaving veteran homeless.

In 2012-**** I was working with this program through MSHDA. They pretended to care and want to help.

What they really did was bait me until my home hit foreclosure, then bought it at the Sheriff sale for a low bid. I am a disabled veteran who was waiting for my VA settlement. I got this within the 6 month period and had enough cash to buy back my home. I called MSHDA again for advice and help on how to redeem my home.

Little did I know they were the ones who purchased it and they lied to me and told me I could not buy my home back. Then MSHDA sat on my home for 17 months while passing it around their different offices and caused me to likely miss out on another home this year.

So for 4 years and 5 months, I will be without a home due to this scam of a program called MSHDA. A disabled veteran should NOT be used and discarded for such a gain.
