Psychotic Restaurant Manager
- - Good food and service, but a birthday note was missed.
- - The manager yelled you are rude, chased us to the parking lot, grabbed my arm and pushed me.
Michel's at the Colony Surf Good food, great service, except that I had to remind a server that a birthday was noted on the reservation. I pointed this out to the host in a kind way but she still thought my upset was being rude to her.
The manager came over to the table as we were leaving and started yelling in a loud voice, "you are rude". He then continued ranting all the way out into the parking area. He also told my date that she was also rude, not sure why. I then said, "Let's both talk with the hostess" to find out what I actually did or said.
He then grabbed my arm and pushed me away from the entrance. The new owner, as of 5 months ago, is not to be found, as reported by the Honolulu Star newspaper, due to non-disclosure agreements.
Michel's has lost me as a returning customer. This was pure harassment and very embarrassing.
