Feeling Scammed

AI Highlights
  • Nine items consigned in Bowling Green moved to Glasgow.
  • Receipt arrived; one item shown; two found.
  • Cashier could not identify item sold; small payout.

I consigned nine items in the Bowling Green store and was told they would go to the Glasgow store. I was not given a receipt until days later when I requested it, but it only showed one item.

I walked through the Glasgow store at different times and went through the racks looking for my clothes but I was only able to locate two of them. I was paid a small payment but for only the one item. The cashier at Glasgow could not even tell me which one sold. These were expensive items, not junk.

I expected better treatment than this. I honestly feel completely ripped off and have lost trust.

The above is the review that I gave on another site, almost word for word. My review was removed. For the record, this is the truth to the best of my knowledge.

I kept documentation to support my claims. I have no idea if Michelle’s Consignment made a false report to have my review removed. What I do know is that not only do I feel like a ripped-off fool, now I feel like my Freedom of Speech has been violated. People have the right to express their opinions, even a negative one, or at least they should have that right.

This type of censorship only validates my belief that this company is shady. Not a place that I would recommend doing business with.

User's recommendation: Do your consigning elsewhere
