We: Argeo Dominguez and Veronica Dominguez, are issuing a formal complaint against Miami International Auto, as described below: On September 2015 we buy a car used VW Jetta for $ 4,500.00 at Miami International Auto, located at, 9343 NW 27th Ave, Miami FL 33147, to purchase the vehicle we was made a short test, about two blocks away, and the vehicle worked well, in no time the vendor reported or declare that the car had a fault in engine or transmission, once done all documentation, and when we left the car dealership the car the began to do with transmission problems, when it reached high speed and had to reduce and make changes, when contacting the dealer for resolve they was the refused any assistance or resolution. the next day we make a phone call and was answered for saleswoman, which heeded oblivious to my explanation, I gave about the default transmission, and gave no solution.By law in this case the dealer must give at least 30 days warranty. We believe that this was a deceptive practice from Miami International Auto, because the selling dealer and administration were well aware that the vehicle have a broken transmission, in other words the vehicle is almost inoperative, then,we go to South Motor VW, for check the transmission, and they certified that the transmission is damaged and needs repair, and the cost is $ 3,200.00 or whether to operate the vehicle would cost $ 3,200.00 plus the initial cost of $ 4,500.00 for a total of $ 7,700.00. Herein is cheating dealer, they never said that the car had transmission problems in addition They also did nothing to repair the damage. I am attaching copy of dealer estimate as a proof. Dated September 30, 2015 and within 30 days, I went to the above dealer to try to negotiate a deal with them but your employees refused to give any details of the owner, such as name, address and phone number , saying that if they gave information would be driven from their work. They were instructed by the owner to withhold information from the owner in the case of a complaint, employees did not act friendly, and not were intended to help with the problem, one reported that the owner came in the afternoon and another said he would not go today. Once exhausted all resources to find a solution we leave the place without answer or solution, and with a car with a broken transmission. The fact sign a document that says that the vehicle does not have guarantee does not mean that we have given up my rights or not entitled to claim. That we sign a consent or document where it says that is not warranted does not mean that they are allowed to cheat, or are allowed to deceive the consumers. Because at no time they made reference to transmission damage verbal or written. Because this dealer sold me an inoperative vehicle as if it were in good condition, this is a scam, an act of dishonesty. Miami International Auto has a fraudulent behavior and is clearly violating my rights, and violating the ordinances governing sales and customer service practices ,we informed verbally, communicating to its employees that it would issue a formal complaint with the Miami Dade County, but they did not care this statement. We reserve the right to file a civil action in court, similar to $ 3200 or more, at this point the dealer will be responsible for court costs plus the value of the claim. We are asking to the Miami Dade County Consumer Service Department for a complete investigation into this case, and that the damaged part of the car will be repaired,or we are compensated for the damage.
