Deceptive Facade
The external appearance of this "dump" is very deceiving. The evening staff, 2 young girls, both had an 'I couldn't give a @#$%' attitude.
My room had a broken marble facade that covers the sink plumbing, there is mold on the ceiling as well. Roaches greeted me from the top of the toilet when I turned on the bathroom light. They charge $20 a day amenity fee (parking, Wi-Fi use, Hoouse-keeping). They make their rules up as they go along.
Housekeeping will NOT come to your room unless you schedule it with the front desk. In order to get clean linens or towels, I had to bring all the dirty ones to the front desk to exchange them. I complained that the people across the hall were smoking marijuana and smoke came out from under the door, to which they did nothing. Other than parking spaces and a cut in the sidewalk for wheelchair access, there are no safety measures in the bathrooms (safety strips in the bathtub to keep you from slip & fall accidents, or bath mats for the slippery tile floors).
I've had better accommodation in Hostels around the world.
I have plenty of pictures to back up my claims and accusations. I wish there were a rating system that allowed negative numbers.
