Received cold food
- Visited Mi Ranchito in Downtown Overland Park.
- Fajitas arrived cold instead of sizzling hot.
- Plate was burnt on bottom after returning for a new one.
Visited Mi Ranchito restaurant in Downtown Overland Park and ordered the fajitas. Fajitas always come to the table sizzling hot, and my order was cold.
Sent the food back asking for new plate, but they brought back the old plate and food was burnt on the bottom. Took nearly my entire lunch break to get my food and I did not have time to eat at all.
User's recommendation: My recommendation is not to visit the Mi Ranchito restaurant in Downtown Overland Park. They will give you a refund on food, only a discount on sub-par food, overcooked food or cold food.

Child’s broken heart

Last night my family went to your Stanley location for my daughters birthday. We received poor service and when it was time to celebrate her birthday ( as we have for several years and several other children) there was no singing, no sombrero and no dessert with a candle.
The server said they dont do that anymore. We were just there one month ago for my 12 year old and her birthday was celebrated. My 10 year old was heart-broken and very sad. She picked your restaurant specifically for her birthday celebration and she was devastated and still bummed today.
That is NO way to keep customers. She does not care to ever go back.

Refuses to honor their own coupons

- Assistant manager refused to honor it; kept my card; police were called; barred.
We ordered two regular priced meals, two drinks, and two $.99 tacos. We were told at that time that the coupon would not cover the specials (tacos) and we said we were fine with that as we did not expect it to cover them, only the meals as per the coupon.
After the dinner we submitted the coupon and credit card with the check and a few minutes later they returned saying that because we ordered the two side tacos, they were not going to honor the coupon. The assistant manager was called out (who misrepresented herself as the general manager)and steadfastly refused to correct the situation. She also refused to relinquish my credit card when I asked for it.
The situation eventually resulted in the local police being called out and eventually me being barred from the joint (as if I would ever patronized them ever again). This all over what was mediocre food at best!
