MG Home Remodeling LLC

I paid the defendant $2,000 on 4/4/23 to purchase wood that would be used to build a fence around an above-ground pool MG Home Remodeling, LLC planned to install in my backyard. I paid him through Zelle as requested for $2,000.

Before beginning the project, I spoke with him to ensure the permits, surveys, etc. completed. Victor learned from Wake County it would take much longer than expected and be much more expensive. The pool would end up costing far over budget and not be completed until months later when it would be too late to use.

We both agreed it was not a good idea to go through with the project. He said the wood could be returned to Lowes and the money would be returned to me. Weeks later, he told me he could not return the wood and asked what other options there were. I asked to see the Lowes receipt for the wood which never was given to me.

He unexpectedly then left for Mexico for a few months and I did not hear from him. He finally returned months later and agreed he owed me the money. He for weeks told me he then didnt have the money to pay me. He had money to take his family to Mexico, throw parties here, and take his large family out to very nice dinners; posted all over social media.

It has now been almost 8 months and Im yet to see $1 of the $2,000 I paid him. I have many text messages from him stating he owes me the money and is responsible. This company is located in Clayton/Benson, NC and run by Juana/Victor Gonzalez. Please help me get my money back.

Im a single mother and my sons father passed away this year so this money is extremely important to us. Thank you so much for your help!
