To Counter a lot of this BS
I purchased a home through Mike in the new Sumnter Landing neighborhood in OOB. He was incredibly responsive to any issues that arose and fixed the majority of them that were within warranty terms.
I think bottom line dont be a *** bag to your builder and *** treat you well. Did the whole thing come out perfect, no, but Ive lived in my home for three years and things arent rusting and molding and all the stuff these people are claiming. Hes a pretty stand up guy in my opinion. There wasnt a lot of wiggle room for customization on the home but he did do a lot of the things we wanted.
Wouldnt do a screen porch so we ended up hiring someone to do that but I'm honestly pretty satisfied with his work.
Enough so I felt the need to come on here and balance this a bit because I had quite the opposite experience and shocked to see this much negativity. I could screen shot 20 or so emails where he responded timely, respectfully and followed through on fixing or addressing something.

Went to mediation with Mezioan and he agreed to fix some of the irrigation and fix some of the poor quality plastic sink components. This builder uses poor quality materials and cheapest installer.
The kitchen sink is rusting along with failing windows. He buys from local box store and not commercial supply houses.
He is untrustworthy and has no integrity. If you buy from him when you close you will never see him again.

Worst builder ever, no customer service. He does not stand behind his product!
He buys in line and will not replace or warranty anything. Stainless steel sink rusting, plumbing fixtures dont work, windows dont open, air blows through them. Exterior doors already rusted, poor quality.
Still waiting for development to be accepted. We have to pay over $750 a year for pump station and street lights because he cant build a road to be accepted by the town.

He is a terrible person, lies through his teeth, needs them rearranged. Very deceitful and would step on his wife for the next buck

Builder has yet to finish Punch List for home sold during 11/19. Most recently we were able to see why are windows sweat so much, turns out they are rated for a different climate. He also wrote down on the paper that we were buying windows that were a U-Factor of .28 but he installed windows that are at a U-Factor of .46

I have been wondering what is wrong with our windows. Mold is growing around them because of the sweat. One of many lies he tells to his buyers.
