Lied to Directly When Purchasing a Vehicle
OMG! DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I started dealing with Mick Koch who seemed nice on the phone. As an out of state buyer I reviewed the vehicle with Mike several times. He assured me he was standing at the car and it was Perfect! I was especially concerned about bad swirl marks as the dealerships often have inexperienced kids performing the detailing. Mike assured me it was perfect and there was No Swirl Marks at all. I paid extra for an enclosed carrier to deliver the car to me. The driver unloaded the car and said 'oh my god' I'm soo sorry it looks like they've taken it off road it was so muddy. The driver told me when he picked it up Mike make the comment 'oh my god' I thought this would be shipped on an open carrier so we didn't bother to clean it up at all. Mind you, before the truck arrived Mike told me personally that the car had be 'sent to the detail shop' to be cleaned up prior to shipping. Just another lie. I won't even go into the blemishes on the passenger door, the scratches on the drivers fender, the scuff marks along the passenger side, among other things.
I was transferred to Matt the Sales Manager. All I requested was that I take it to a Ford dealership in my area and have it detailed to remove whatever swirls they could. Sales Manager Matt was again very indignant and told me he only mad $20 on the car and could not afford to pay for a detail. Like his bad business practices somehow became my responsibility.
Do yourself a favor and purchase from somewhere else. You will find both Mike and Matt to be total liars. One lies and the other swears to it. We are talking about a 2018 vehicle that is less than a year old. All this and all I asked for was for the vehicle to be detailed as it should have been in the first place.
I would have preferred zero stars but one is the least I could put.

Put 206 miles on car in shop for one day
Brought my vehicle in for repair January 2014, picked it up later in the evening (so not even one full day) and 206 miles were put on my car. Not only that but they were unable to fix my car and are incompetent.
Still waiting to hear who took my car for a 206 mile job ride.
Have brought this to the attention of the attorney general. Manager at Metropolitan Ford is horrible to deal with, denies it, even though I have the invoice and also the next invoice 2 weeks later which prove that they put 206 miles on my car.
Metropolitan Ford Eden Prairie Not To Be Trusted
I have heard of many horror stories about purchasing vehicles in the past, but to be honest i have never personally experienced one until my visit to Metropolitan Ford in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
With our first visit we were handed off to 3 different sales people, none of whom seem to know much of anything about the vehicles they were selling. We came in prepared having done considerable research on the internet. We wanted a 2012 F-150 Platinum with the Ecoboost engine and maximum trailer tow. We wanted it to be the Platinum white tricoat for color.
First they tried to tell us the truck they had was with the maximum trailer tow when the sticker clearly showed it had a different axle. I had to take them to the Ford website to show them the specifications i was wanting.
They finally admitted I was right and said they would try to locate one. Coming back telling me there was only 2 left in the country and Ford stopped taking orders for the 2012. They would need my credit card to pay for the transportation of one of the vehicles they found many miles away.
They then gave us their offer including what they would give us in trade for our 2004 **** Silverado HD pickup. the offer was typed on a white piece of paper plain for all to see. They had the VIN number of our vehicle right there on the paper and the vehicle we were getting with the price difference spelled out.
2 weeks went by before the vehicle finally shows up. (the sticker showed the vehicle just arrived from the factory at a dealer less than 15 miles away.) We are getting ready to make the payment and the sales guy comes in and declares that it will be $3,000 more to make the deal because they thought our vehicle was a Diesel that we were trading in and it was Gas. Stating we lied to them.
When we pointed to the paperwork they gave us with the VIN # of our vehicle and description of our 2500 HD Chevy V-8 GAS truck... they said that the piece of paper could have been from anyone, it was not from them... The sales guy could not even look me in the eye when I asked him directly - John did you give me this paper the last time I was here? He said he didn't remember.
Yes they charged my Credit Card for transportation of vehicle for the transport. When i confronted them on that fraud they laughed at us.
Needless to say we did not buy the truck from them.
We left metropolitan ford and drove to another dealer who sold us what we wanted and was able to give us the fair price without hassle and they were able to locate our truck in 10 minutes.

They have some very unclear workers quoting prices and not clear enough so charge over 100.00 more or even more for "simpler" issue.
Both FORD and METROPOLITAN deserve each other a perfect fit.
FORD ESCAPES new Engine already has a class action suit against it dozens of states so they are charging their Current Customers an arm and leg to defend their engineering issues.
