Great first experience, great first bid. Asked for a follow up and alterations, got nothing after two asks and two promises. Don't waste your time.

Same thing happened to me. The rep with a Luisiana cell phone number visited.

Great experience. Never hear back from them when asked for changes.

Shady business. Especially since the owner is an ex convict for fraud in Michigan

This company's good reviews far out number the bad ones. Hard to argue with more than 80 five star reviews.

And if you didn't buy a pool from him, why are you leaving a review? Nobody cares about your personal opinion or your personality conflict. They want to know if the company builds a good swimming pool, and that's all.

This reads more like the gossip pages in Soap Magazine than actual customer's reviews of a business. What a joke!

I completely agree. This is possibly a ploy to reduce 5 star rating from a different pool company.

Metroplex Pools - Great install, Great experience

After doing some research and liking the pros of a fiberglass pool, we chose Metroplex Pools because of the good reviews we read and seeing the actual installed pools at other costumers houses. Other than dealing with weather and holiday delays, the installation process was quick and painless. We love our pool and look forward to many years of enjoyment.

Not impressed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Failed promises one after another. One year later he never came back to burnish the sides of the pool.

Just plain old concrete that he wanted us to pay more to correct. Look at our pictures does this look like a 35 k pool?

Excellent experience

Steve is fun to work with and wants his customers to be happy. We talked with some of his former customers when we visited their finished pools and they all had great things to say as well.

We got our dream pool and are shocked at how easy the process felt. The pool and patio design is spot on and the quality is top notch.

Easy to work with and good product

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had a great experience with Steve and his subcontractors. We contacted several companies looking to install a pool.

Many of the companies did not even return phone calls. Others were not interested because of our budget. Steve with Metroplex not only was the best at communication and helped us through the process from start to finish but was friendly to work with. Metroplex works with very competent installers that kept us informed every step of the way.

They begun the dig on a Wednesday and by the following Tuesday the whole project was complete.

The final price was about 800 more than the original quote - but this was only because we asked for additional concrete. No surprises.

Deceptive

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Asked specific questions on warranty. Owner Steve Fultz seemed evasive with answers.

Once I actually looked at a copy of the warranty, I realized his answers were incorrect or deceptive. I found this on line apparently this guy is Steve Fultz AKA Steve Brown a transient from Michigan. Steven Fultz, who until 2005 did business as Steve Brown Used Cars at 904 E. Grand River Ave., pleaded guilty last week before Judge Paul V. Gadola to one count of bank fraud in connection with fraudulent transactions involving more than 20 vehicles. He was arrested Feb.

Using faked signatures, Fultz would provide titles for used-car customers that indicated the vehicle lien had been paid. Fultz faces sentencing Jan.

This was definitely not a customer of Metroplex Pools we researched the complaint and have no way of contacting this person. It’s amazing that a competitor has time and effort to post this fake news!

LolWe would never do this to anyone, our family has worked hard to be honest and fair. Just going to have to accept that while we have made mistakes in our past we all can learn from them.If you need to contact us the number is 855-955-POOL

Due Diligence before you buy

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I contacted this business in a attempt to purchase a in ground pool. The owner did not seem that interested in my wants or needs, just seemed interested in getting a check.

I could not get a straight answer out of him on warranty or price. I figured I would give him a second chance. I did my due diligence as any one should, that wants to make a safe investment around $40,000 on a in ground pool. I found this news paper article http://blog.mlive.com/annarbornews/2007/09/excar_dealer_admits_to_federal.html This guy did time in the Federal Penitentiary.

Apparently he was a small car dealer in Michigan. Customers would trade in their cars and believe they would get paid off, he would forge the title and resell it and never pay it off. So the guy who traded in and the guy who bought both got burned. I also found out he has federal Tax Liens.

I eventually got a copy of the warranty for the pools he sold. I thought maybe I could find a more reputable builder. After reading the warranty its one page of what's covered and three pages of what's not covered. Doesn't cover normal wear and tear, tree roots, ground movement.

You also need to keep complex logs from Chemical testing facilities. I did buy a pool from a different builder who checked out, and a manufacturer who has a great warranty.

Sure thing .....

We did not make this up Google m live 2007 ex car dealer read the article your self. This guy has scammed and hurt many innocent people.

He's now posing as a reputable pool builder working out of his house. He has a sole proprietorship. He has done hard time in the federal correctional system.

Do you thing home owners with small children want this type of individual in there home. Its just a matter of time before he strikes again

Guest

But why would you give him a second chance if he did not seem interested. I'm sorry but i believe this is a fake review.

This person copies and pastes on many other review websites.

Please take this garbage down. Thanks

Thanks for informing in the review. What builder did you use?

Manufacturer? How is that pool for you so far?

Great Pool at a Very Reasonable Price

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Metroplex Pool provided us a great pool at a very reasonable price. The crew took amazing care to install the pool in very difficult weather conditions. They insured us that no shortcuts were performed and all work was done.

So overall we are happy with the overall appearance of the swimming pool and to the overall level of attention to detail that we received from the crew and from the owner named Steve.

The only issues that we experienced since the swimming pool was installed dealt with the electronics, at which time the owner Steve was more then willing to come out and help my family and fix it.

Metroplex Pools - Review in Plumbing fixtures category from Grapevine, Texas

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This is a false and libelous post by a competitor of Metroplex Pools who is unhappy about Steve Fultz selling higher quality pools at better prices and providing better customer service. It is word for word the same 'review' the competitor has posted before.

Metroplex Pools is suing him and hia company now in Cause No. 048-2813**-**, pending in the 48th Judicial District Court of Tarrant County.

I'm sure he is scared to death that he will lose his business - it's called American competition, LOSER. I am Metroplex Pool's lawyer, and can confirm the false nature of this 'review' as well as the fact of suit against these idiots.

What does a past mistake have to do with the integrity of someone or their ability to do good business now? Look at how many happy customers they have! That is what should influence your decision, not the opinion of someone spending time and effort to smear someone's name when they haven't even bought a pool from them.
