Bad costumer service
If I could put a zero in the rating I would do it, my appointment was at 3:15, I called because I was 15 minutes late, they told me that there are no problems because they have a 15 minute late grace period, so I had to park and find the door and go up to the second floor, I arrived at 3:34 and they told me we cannot serve you, no matter where you came from, terrible customer service, and front desk with bad attitude.

Physically and personally scared by metro vein centers NYC
I WAS a new client of MVC NYC
At first everything was going well.
I had multiple appointments, was treated by all different techs, mostly women .Sonogramed before the treatment.
I didnt have any problems, I even got
Friendly with one female tech.
I had approx 6 visits.Until i had a male tech. I saw a male item on my phone.
Thinking it funny I flashed it at the tech.
Next thing i knew my services were TERMINATED.He reported me to HR for inappropriate behavior.
I worked and with a physician for 10 years and ran a clinic. I understand the mistake and apologized for it. The next I was scheduled for a follow up.my legs now having back dots where the injections are.
So I went for the follow up.
I was monitored and treated like a convicted rapest..
I was told the dots will take months to heal. I apologized originally about the incident.
I have never in 67 years been degraded like this in my life.
This is unacceptable and intolerable!
Bad experience
Procedure performed: vein ablation. Had a really really bad reaction to lidocaine after 30 minutes the procedure started.
Ended up on emergency room. After almost 3 weeks Im still having pain all over my leg. They told me before the day of procedure that I was going to be able to work and do everything I used to do. No even close.
I am experiencing dizziness, leg pain, confusion, headache, insomnia and tiredness most of the time. very bad medical experience.
Bad Results
Noooo! I recommend this place in Coppell Texas.
The medical procedure was very painful with injections and left my veins darker, and some bruises that were never eliminated. Not good for cosmetics.
Very dissatisfied and if I paid for the section it was like a game. The wait, terrible.
Scammers
I went for a free consultation but I was s essentially forced to have an ultrasound. I only went for spider veins and nothing else.
Dr Garrison did not even look at my legs (no joke) and immediately said thats not covered by insurance which I already knew.
He then said have the ultrasound and when I hesitated because I didnt know if it was covered he said just have the ultrasound
I felt so pressured and did it. Thank God insurance covered it. Then they said I needed an ablation (procedure with the catheter in my leg that I never had any pain in) I am so upset with myself that I let them do it. They billed the insurance and got paid $4,000.
They clearly lure you in, have you do procedures you dont need to get paid by insurance. When they FINALLY got to treating the spider veins (which is all I went for) and had three treatments and they look the same or worse. The person that did the veins took pics with an Ipad (didnt even look at them next visit) and told me how improved they looked. I have a scar and small bump where the catheter was and it itched for 2 months.
Its a scam and a factory. After the procedure I never saw him again.
He makes awkward inappropriate jokes.I would never ever recommend them and I kick myself that I gave into their high pressure. Stay away!

I went for a consultation on Thursday. The girls up from were pleasant.
I was taken to an exam room and answered health questions. That is the last I saw of anyone. Went out front 40 minutes later. They were trying to tell me I had an ultrasound that takes an hour.
Never saw a doctor and they never gave me my ID or insurance card. Had to drive all the way there the next day. The receptionist said the Dr.
was backed up the past day. I told them I was the only one there and I don't appreciate them lying for a doctor who obviously could care less for their patients.

Verified Reviewer | Rochester Hills, MichiganPoor Results; $21k in total charges for one leg
Six months of treatment ended with completely unsatisfactory results - see picture below - can you tell which leg had $21,000 worth of treatment? Insurance covered most, but was still responsible for $4-$5K of bills for very little visible results.
- Friendly
- Poor results
- Expensive

Service
The service at the Brooklyn office is horrible. They schedule everyone at the same time.
You have to wait 2 to 4 hours to see the doctor.
I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. There is only one doctor seeing everyone.
User's recommendation: I would not recommend to anyone
Let people know

A major disaster
First the doctor said I needed 4 vein surgeries and 6 spider vein treatments. He did one vein and that was okay at first but the vein protrusion never went away and is worse now.
He did a second one a few months later, said I didn't need any more treatment. I have had terrible pain and a large area of redness and swelling and itching ever since. I feel and look much worse than before.
I went to the Forest Hills center. Deceptive advertising and performance.
Damaged my legs
Thy lied about the process and the outcome. They assured me my insurance company would cover the cost of the procudure. They billed my insurance company for surgery when it was only them sticking needles in my veins causing severe pain permanent damage and they billed me for 1,000.00 in additional out of pocket cost Terrible and deceptive

Legs are far worse than before
I had both of my legs done completely and they have never looked worse. I have red veins too to bottom now that I never had before.
They said it would make my legs look and feel better. Neither happened. It cost a lot too but my insurance did cover part of it at least.
My legs will never recover from this farce of a surgery. Very disappointed.
Varicose laser treatment /deception
I was very deceived. I was talked into getting both legs done within 5 days apart while medicare being my primary care.
I was told get done before your other insurance kicks in then it wont be covered because the other insurance would become primary and medicare is fully covered. I then received a bill close to $1000 and then to learn my other insurance would hve paid the procedure and medicare now being 2nd wld hve paid the balance. Because medicare was primary and the other was secondary i had to pay although my second paid a small portion i had to pay out of pocket close to $800.
I explained to biiling how i was talked into getting procedure prior to other insurance kicks in and they ignored.
Biiling was horrible and very difficult to deal with.
I hve not gone back for followup because billing does not have their stuff in order.. not pleasant people either

Deceptive practices and inflated charges
Do not go to this provider. They indicate they will contact your insurance to determine what is covered.
However, their billing department is incompetent. The doctor himself said I was covered for the procedure and up to 6 sessions of secondary treatment. It turned out they billed my insurance company for $10000 and are attempting to get me to pay $2500. This was after I stated I did not want to proceed with any procedure unless it was paid for by my insurance.
Their quality assurance department stated that their costs have to cover their high overhead. I went to two different locations at their recommendation but the two locations are not in sync and the patient ends up being given false and deceptive information.

Verified Reviewer | Rochester, MichiganMetro Vein Centers Treatment Services Review from Rochester, Michigan
Do not recommend this business. I met with them this summer and discussed in great detail the fees.
I made them document this so there would be NO surprises. I paid the amount that my insurance was short up front. They ASSURED me that was definite. Now, six months later I am receiving bills for extras.
Trying to resolve this with their barely legal clerical staff has been painful. I have explained this to five different people, none of whom are empowered to resolve the issue. One girl had the nerve to suggest that I should just pay the bill because..."it's not that much"....really??
Also, I still have bruises and scars six months after the surgery....they said I would be sore for two days....try three weeks. stay away from them....impossible to deal with.
