I left this shop completely disappointed and frustrated for the service not completed. I scheduled some tattoo work with an apprentice. She told me that because she's only a 2nd year apprentice, she charges a discounted rate. We had exchanged texts/emails, and then I finally booked a session to add additional background work/enhancements to an arm with an old tattoo. The first session took a full day and cost me $500 minus a $50 deposit. I was told that I needed to schedule a second appointment to complete the shading work, so I did just that five weeks later. Only this time instead of expecting to pay a similar fee of $500 (since that was the original quote from last session) I was charged $850 and was told the shop owner had requested it based on shop practices. What makes me irate is also the fact that none of this was disclosed to me at the start and I felt that I was overcharged. Between the 2 session, I have spent $1400, I have nothing that resembles a finished tattoo and after 4 days of my repeated attempts at contacting the shop owner/artist, I was told she would offer to finish it at the original apprentice rate. I want a refund as I do not think it's fair to pay for service not delivered, and she has denied that to me. Now I'm stuck with this half-finished piece of artwork on my arm.
User's recommendation: Buyer Beware! Do not get work done here without getting upfront pricing first.
