I received a letter from the Mississippi Medical Licensure Board this morning, and The person who signed it Kenneth E Cleveland says he found no violation of the Mississippi Medical Practice Act, or rules and regulations of the medical board. Well, it is not legal for a doctor to discharge a patient while "ongoing medical care" is happening unless egregious acts have been committed by the patient and i can't think of any...(See other letters uploaded in here). And it is certainly not ethical for a doctor to "ALLOW" a receptionist to "Discharge a doctors patient", that si suppose to be done by the doctor only.

ON march 8, I went to the doctor for a possible torn rotator cuff in my left arm. He referred me to a bone and joint doctor, which I went.

ON the 13th of march, 2022 I went and had 4xrays, and on the following week I went and had a MRI done. I won't know the results of that till May 25, 2022. I sent message on the patient portal asking the doctor (Walker), to call in prescription strength Ibuprofen or something to help with the pain (feels like a knife sticking in the arm). I can't lift my arm, it is in sling.

I thought doctors suppose to care for their patients, (I guess I was wrong), I mean don't they take a Hippocratic oath or something to that effect? Anywa, I called on the 28th of April, 2022 and a woman named (Nicole) answered the phone at the clinic and I told her I needed to come in early instead of the April 10th to see my doctor, and she was rude and would not give me a time to come in. I never spoke to my doctor. She eventually hung up on me, and I tried to speak to another one and she hung up as well.

Both are new employees. The communication was not good at all. I got a letter today from the office manager (Not my doctor), stating "she had discharged" me as a patient (not my doctor), because of how I talked to her on the phone, but it was her who would not allow me to speak to my doctor, and she was not "patient friendly at all", thus I never got to speak to my doctor about my torn rotator cuff pain, etc.

HOw can a receptionist discharge a patient? I have copies of letter I received from the receptionist, and copy of the letter I sent back in response shown in this review, and she isn't my doctor...A receptionist does not have the authority to "discharge" a patient, only the patients doctor has that authority.
