- It's been almost a year and I still have no plates.
- Three attempts to get help from Portland Lithia with no callbacks.
It’s been almost a year and I have no plates! This is my third attempt at trying to talk to someone that can help.
This time I have not been called back after a week of calling Portland Lithia. I’ve been told they would leave a message for me on someone’s desk yet still no response from the two times I was told that. No attempt has been made by the staff at the Portland location to contact me in regards to my plates or a trip permit.
nothing has been addressed on there end at all. A year is simply an outrageous amount of time to wait for plates.
- Worse than ever regretted buying service care from them
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
When I "googled" MB complaints I was shocked by the number of links.
- 2008 E320 is a money pit.
- Portland MB dealer charged for unperformed work and a fuel filter; bolts left in place; fuel system later failed.
You simply don't see the kind of complaints with reliable cars like Honda and Toyota compared to MB. My 2008 E320 has been a money pit.
The Portland MB dealer lies and cheats it's customers. They charge you for services not performed. For example, I was charged for a new fuel filter. Less than 1000 miles after that "service" in Portland, the fuel system failed.
I took the vehicle to an independent foreign auto repair shop and was told the factory installed bolts were still in place.
I was reminded that MB "repair" shops are dishonorable. It is not unusual to be treated unfairly by MB.
Preferred solution: Full refund
The worst customer service ever along with fraudulent sales practices.
- An employee bought a 2003 Mini Cooper S in Nov 2013; the car has issues, the dealer kept it 3+ months and refused a refund; warns others.
As an employee of Mercedes Benz of Portland I was excited to purchase a 2003 Mini Cooper S back in November of 2013 from my company. I figured I would get a great deal and have no issues being an employee.
I WAS WRONG!!!! This company who is owned by Lithia motors has done nothing right from day one. The car had several issues and I have asked them to fix these issues. They have had the car now for 3 months or more total since November 14 2013.
I have been paying for a car I cant drive. I asked them to take the car back and give me my money back and they have refused. I no longer work for Lithia motors and would advise anyone who is thinking of doing business with them not too. They are dishonest and provide poor customer service.
I was dismissed as of January from the company and would never go back. Their business practices are wrong.
BEWARE!!!!!!!
