Did anyone else have this experience ? Beginning to feel discriminated against by the finance department. My husband and I both have a car in our own name, we have been a three car house due to children and grandchild for many years. Also, my work requires me to transport Corporate Staff to a from events, it's embarrassing try to explain why cereal and fruit snacks are all over the seats. Which is the main reason that I decided to lease a luxury car at Award Winning upscale dealership in my home state of PA instead of going to Cherry Hill, NJ. Due to Covid-19 part of the process was completed via phone an online. At my first dealership visit, I was told that even though, I already have an open car loan it would not be a problem securing this lease deal, I left a deposit and signed a deal offer. Before leaving dealership, sales person advised me not to worry because the dealership had their own finance company and the worse case scenario would be for my husband, (who has his own open car loan, and credit scores is higher than mine, would have to cosign). Day, two sales person relayed message from finance department, that my husband was no longer an option, after running his credit score which was "Excellent". Relaying once again that finance says that I need to trade my vehicle, but not to worry they were still working on it. Each day being disappointed and told something totally different from the finance department. As an African-American female, suddenly, I am feeling pressured into making a deal that I did not ask for or am comfortable with it. I don't know what to think.- Explained all of this to Mercedes Cherry Hill, and their finance department are anxiously awaiting an appointment to give with me a chance. Thank you, Tian. you are definitely the "Best Salesperson Ever".
