Fields Mercedes-Benz of Asheville denied responsibly and passed the blamed to the MB dealer in Alabama who corrected their error, saying they did not keep proper records of their repair work.

This dealership installed a part in my MB and did not set the code properly. I started to get a code error reading to check fan motor.

I took it to a MB mechanic and had them check it. I was told that the coding was set wrong for the part. I took it back to Fields and asked for a diagnostic test. They told me without taking my car into the bay that I needed a new fan motor.

I then took my car to another MB dealership in AL and ask for a diagnostic test. After checking, they said the coding was wrong and they reset the code and I haven't had any more issues. When I brought this to the attention of Fields Motor they went into complete denial and blame. They even blamed the other MB dealer for doing something unethical because they didn't because of some technically about their work.

A very unethical service department and management. I would not go any kind of business with this unethicaldealetship said
