I need to return these pants for a refund it too small these jeans were very small. I bought another pair of the same size and it fit perfect.
These one are too short to be tall and I dont like the way it fit so I just wanna refund and how to send them back. I only have a couple days left so I need someone to contact me to tell me how to return it.

Purchased item from Mercari and it was a fake item. Fraudulent product.
Mercari allows sellers to use their resources to sell fake a fraudulent item on their site. Use EBay instead they wont let you as a buyer get robbed. Mercari is a very fraudulent service provider for fake items. Please do not use their services.
I was robbed of $92.90 Of my HARD EARNED MONEY!!!
And they gave me nothing but excuses.
If the shoe was on the other foot then they would understand. Never again.

I made a $300 purchase. When I received the item, it was not what I ordered at all.
When I told the seller, they blocked me. I contacted Mercari right away and it's been 2 weeks of back and forth with generic answers. They are not even reading my messages. Stay away, please.
I wish I had seen all this before making a purchase. I will never be using this app again.

I ordered the same type of sneaker twice and still haven't received the shoe because the person selling it didn't send the shoe! I was able to get in contact with Mercari and you guys need to be available in all USA states or a customer service chat on the app to get instant service. I just want my money back to order another sneaker

10 days & won't release funds or return my merchandis
I sold an item for $264 and shipped it to the buyer. Package delivered on September 14th.
Then on the 17th the buyer opened a return claim and instead of uploading pictures of the supposed damaged items she posted pictures of herself, like nothing but selfies. A total narcissist. Absolutely nothing was posted to support her claim. I responded with the pictures I take of each item in the packing process.
Shows the price tags, & condition just in case something like this were to happen. It's been 9 days and Mercari refuses to have the buyer return the items or complete the sale. I've called the customer service number but it says not available in your area. At this point Mercari is stealing from me.
I have over 900 sales & am closing my seller account.
This is an outrage. Mercari complete the sale & hire someone to answer the phones!!

This package only weighs 3 ounces.

Verified ReviewerItem delivered, Mercari approved buyer cancel request , I lost the money
I shipped the item, but the carrier did not update the shipping. Mercari asked me to wait until September 12th (1 month), but simultaneously approved a cancellation request for the buyer.
I ended up losing money and the item. The buyer received the item for free. Mercari did absolutely nothing to help me. Moreover, it seems that the chain of communication between me and Mercari was very weak.
It seemed like previous messages were not read or were read by different people all the time (answers sometimes did not make sense). Mercari did not even help me with the USPS tracking number off the shipping label (I sent UPS SurePost which has two tracking numbers: UPS and USPS). I did not save the image of the label on the package. I received no support from customer service.
Moreover, Mercari blamed the entire situation on me, stating that I brought the package to the wrong carrier. Even after the package was delivered (picture proof sent), Mercari was telling me it was not according to their tracking info.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Save all receipts when you shipped the items and the images of the actual label until item is delivered.

I sold an item on this site on 09/16/24. I dropped the package off on 09/18/24, like I always do, at CVS.
After a week with no tracking updates, I contacted CVS to see what happened. They reviewed the footage and confirmed that I dropped the package off, and that a UPS driver took possession of the package two days later, but he never scanned the package into UPS's system. So, when I contacted UPS to try to start an investigation to find my package, I was told Mercari would have to do that since it was shipped through their UPS account. I consequently contacted Mercari and have been going back and forth with them over this issue for a month they essentially said that since UPS never scanned the package, it was my problem to figure out.
The buyer ended up canceling the order, so I lost access to the tracking number. I contacted Mercari again, this time asking for the tracking number so I could try to sort things out with UPS, but Mercari was completely unhelpful. Last night, I received an email from UPS stating that they had received my missing package. It was finally scanned into the UPS system, however, the buyer had already canceled the order.
Therefore, even if the package gets delivered to them, I still won't get paid and I will lose my product. I contacted Mercari once more and asked them what we could do to retrieve the package since the buyer had already canceled the order. They had the audacity to tell me that I shipped the order out after the buyer canceled the order, therefore, it was my problem to figure out. Mercari will never take accountability or help you when you need real help.
I'm exhausted from this. I reached out to UPS to try and intercept and reroute the package back to me so I can at least attempt to resell the product. UPS informed me that they were intercepting the package and sending it back to the original sender, Mercari. Since the package was shipped through Mercari's UPS account, it's being sent back to them.
UPS instructed me to contact Mercari to have them send the package back to me.
However, I'm convinced they won't do it, if they even respond, and I'm too exhausted to keep dealing with this mess. Steer clear of this deceitful company.
