Claimed I was selected for survey and afterward received chance to win iPad, just had to pick right box. Picked box with iPad in it, received a congratulations message stating I won, would need to pay between $1-$5 for shipping and would receive the iPad in 5-7 days (see photo 1) I was charged $9.97 and received a message stating, Thanks for entering (see message 2).

Mem rewards taking funds without permission

Mem Rewards is what my statement says that dipped in the till without permission. They say i signed up for this rewards program when i had made a purchase back in may of 2009. They took 36.00 from my net spend debit card 6 mo.

later and i had never used this service and am sure i had canceled this kinda thing. They said it would never happen again if i pay 14.75 to put a cancel on this account.

No refund and i was forced to cancel out this debit card because i can't trust loading funds on it anymore. WATCH OUT for any rewards programs fine print or such.
