For roming data for internet you charge me 160e????? ... Maybe I use just 2-3 times... Thats too much ... And I wont to cancel my contract for mobile (calls,internet, sms) imidiatly....
Melita Internet Service Review from Valletta, Malta
Melita Internet Provider: scammier than a phone call from India Seriously people, don't do it. Long story short: opted for a stop/start service as we are not always in Malta & thought it would work out cheaper in the long run. Except... they neglect to see emails with dates asking for service to be stopped. So currently I'm paying a massively inflated rate for internet, while the modem is switched off! Literally think this has got to be the most expensive internet provider in the world: €390 for 5months! (Have in fact used a grand total of 5 weeks). The best part was when they contacted me to say I owed money for the installation fee (previously told to pay IN CASH to engineer). Naturally I had paid in cash as directed & unfortunately Melita "lost" all evidence of this and demanded immediate payment or proof of payment (difficult as reciept was in Malta and I was elsewhere). I refused & suspiciously they then found the receipt at their end. Melita are an absolute joke of a company, great if you think it's funny being robbed blind but less so if you were looking to save money by disconnecting. Also I LOVE the sign on the door, saying it's forbidden to take pictures or videos as clearly they are in the practice of intentionally mis-selling, mis-informing customers & don't want you to have proof of either. Although I've not yet signed up, i've worked out that with 'GO' internet provider on their 2-yr plan I would have paid for TWENTY ONE MONTHS INTERNET in the same time frame its taken Melita to (over)charge me for 5. Customer service rivals BT!!!

There were 2 companies to connect Internet, but it was obligatory to choose Melita, because my home owner was using Melita. They connected the Internet and took â‚¬ 75 deposit for modem from me. I was leaving Malta on November 18. I called Melita, and asked that how can I get my deposit back. They said that, "You have to come one day before your flight, and we will give your deposit back." I went to Melita on November 17, one day before my flight, and gave their modem. Then they said that "We're going to give you a cheque and you will be able to get your deposit in any HSBC bank in Malta in five days." I said "Are you serious? I'm going to leave Malta tomorrow." Then they said, "it is our procedure." (bytheway, it was not written anywhere). Then I filled a bank transfer form to get my deposit to my bank account, with about â‚¬ 20 administration fee and they said "You're going to get it in 5 days." But it's 12th day, and they haven't sent the money, and furthermore they don't respond my mails. What can I do now? I think, I can do nothing...
