Meharry Dentistry

I went to Meharry dental school to get a abscessed tooth pulled back last year and they told me that I needed to have my teeth cleaned cuz I had a lot of plaque so I agreed. Remington dental school clean your teeth for free I went there and they told my gums were too bad that they would come out if they cleaned them.

But I agree with the dental school that the plaque needed to come out because of the tooth was going to rot they over cleaned under my front tooth came out a day later that was December 7th and now it's like February 17th they charged my insurance and then he charged me $300 so we practically I gave him a $600 to get my teeth cleaned that didn't need to be cleaned and they've been telling me that you sent the check so go check the mailbox and they tell me that they haven't signed the check I was going to go to a dentist on Charlotte that will put a partial for $300 until I get the money for an implant and also have to quit smoking so I'm not ready to get the implant but the dental school I just left me hanging for 3 months with no front tooth they don't care I went there and my blood pressure was high because I'm scared of them and the pain is just caused high blood pressure ,so now I am on blood pressure medicine. Try to go to like two different doctors one at Vanderbilt to get a TB test and another one to show that I could take anesthesia without hurting my kidneys I've got the proof I need to get back down there but he never offered to put a partial and they won't tell me how much it cost so I'm kind of confused they haven't worked with me like a professional if you just took my $300 to keep promised me to give me my money back plus he took the money from the insurance I feel like it's it's a bad dental School but they can't give your money back take your front tooth and let you hang like that for months I'll look homeless I don't go out I didn't go out Christmas Day I didn't go out New years.

Dr Odom seems like he cares and he says that the treasury there was holding up the side of my check so it's holding me up and I would spend my money there but like I said they never offered me a price on a partial and I just left me hanging they didn't do it what they should do they didn't pay me my money back they didn't help me get a front tooth so I don't know what to tell you I wouldn't say anything bad about it because they have pulled my teeth without charging me when I was in a bad situation so I really would recommend them for that but be careful. And I went to Meharry about 20 years ago to get a back tooth pulled and they left the roots in there it's had to end up going to Vanderbilt to an oral surgeon and TennCare paid for it but if I didn't have TennCare I would have had a tooth root lodged in my job for years just living in pain I wasn't no pain December 1st and now I'm depressed my blood pressure is high and they don't want to pay me my money it makes me feel really upset it makes my blood pressure go up even more they need to really get a good comprehensive dental Care system for the American people it's just a big rip off they all want to make six digits a year like a thousand a day or something if you don't have the money you just go around with rotten teeth again I wish they'd pay me my money if someone in the faculty's reading my my grievance please pay me my money you know how much you owe me and you have my address it's up to you to be honest and be a good

I went to get my teeth cleaned by student dentist with no supervision from a teacher she didn't scrape it she used some kind of sandblast until my front tooth came out and found out they double charged me my insurance $264 and I paid him $300 cash which I think he's spent they won't give back to me. He told me that they sent the check so I go to the mailbox and I call him and say he hadn't come to go oh well the treasury has to sign it may take months it's just the problem we're having here so disorganized even the person I talked to on the phone even a minute that it shouldn't take that long if I gave him $300 cash I saw him put it in an envelope you should still have it in that envelope but what happened they went and spin it out on lunch or something and they're hoping I'd die from all the stress he put me through and why would they pay me back and what are they not have a supervisor supervising their students I just felt like I was a mouth for them to practice on they made a mistake I guess he learned from it but I learned a lesson that you don't go to student dentist unless they're supervised by a regular dentist that knows because it takes experience you can't just put student in there it's not like brushing my teeth she did a terrible job

On December 1st Friday I went to meharry dental school to get my teeth cleaned .I paid Meharry dental school $300.

A student hygienist administered anesthesia on my right upper teeth when she put it into the front tooth she went in behind the nerve and injected too much I could taste it on my tongue. Then she almost drown me with too much water I had to get up out of the chair and cough the water out I was acting like it was okay but I looked back after you know I'm a 65 year old man and there was no one there to supervise her.

After a few days I noticed my tooth wasn't right so went to them to get an x-ray and the Dr. Said it was fractured from grinding my teeth

Before I had my teeth clean I could eat at Apple my front teeth were strong there was a lot of gum around them silver cleaned it too and took the black out that was holding it in there or something it's hard to live without a front tooth I look homeless they have an apologize they act like it's my fault and then if I didn't go in there to get my teeth cleaned I still have a front too today

You told me I could come in last Friday on the 7th when I got down there they said that they already booked the emergency walk-ins I have to come back Monday at 6:00 in the morning knowing am I out of dollars to think of all the times I had to go visit down there go back to get an x-ray and go down there and not get served they have to go all weekend with a tooth that's killing me so sensitive the front tooth I'm really unhappy and feel like I'm dying that's all I can tell you I wish I would have not gone there that's all I have to say

I have had to spend so much money to get my teeth fixed and removed! I should sue them!

Every tooth the touched is messed up.

I have dental work from other places that are in great condition that predates their work! The products they use are a joke!

My wife pulled of her teeth number 1 today the student doctor do a bad job she didn't know what supposed to do more than 2 hours to pulled it and her boss came and try to fix her mistakes I am very regret to been there I will fill law suit against her
