There is NO one to answer the Phones, how is anyone supposed to find out the condition of loved ones If NO ONE is there to answer a phone.

Now they wont release her until she pay a deposit - what about the Peso's they Owe me for Wasted time and Calls - are they going to Reimburse me or take it it off the deposit my Fiancee has to pay - NO they wont

Medina Hospital - Medical Care Review

This is an almost identical experience to my own. My mom was taken by ambulance for trouble breathing, wheezing and weakness.

The ER was great, until she was moved to 2 north. My mom is 88 with Alzheimer's. She was ignored, treated like a nuisance and ignore. They ordered consults and tests without consulting me.

Failed to return calls unless i called repeatedly. They were angry and frustrated they had to have an aide in her room. They called me to stay overnight to be a baby sitter. Complained they were understaffed.

She has Alzheimer's so they orderd a neuro consult and did a head ct with no authorization. They claim she was "agitated so gave her an antipsycotic and an anxiety med, all without asking or informing me. She was dirty smelled bad and so weak she couldn't stand up. All this after 2.5 days in there!

So much more happened too.

I would not leave a dog in this place and will never go back. Such a bad experience for my mom and us.

Medina Hospital - Customer Care Review

I had to go to Medina General Hospital ER on Tuesday. Had absolutely no problem with ER.

The problem was the second floor where my room was located. My IV was pulled out by someone tripping on the hose. It took 2 hours for someone to insert it again. 2 HOURS.

Every time I asked for it to be fixed, they said someone was on the way. That did not happen for 2 hours. The pharmacy also filled a prescription for a cream and a nasal spray that I was never asked about. I never gave permission to refill them.

When discharged, I had to wait 30 minutes for a wheelchair. I told my wife to get one and we left the facility. The room I had was crowded and cramped. You could not move around at all.

There were 2 beds in a room too small for even 1 bed. It was more like a prison instead of a health care facility.

I will NEVER go to Medina General Hospital again. Ronald Belock 330-241-****

Medina Hospital Pain Management Doctor Review from Willard, Ohio

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I'd been referred to pain management by my pcp. She wouldn't give any more pain pills for hip/leg pain I'vebeen having for awhile with lot's hip surgeries.

Waited a week for appt with Paul Shin at Medina Hospital and he immediately started talking to me about how I Shouldn't be on pain pills and wouldn't give me a prescription to keep me comfortable till I could get in with orthopedic Dr who did my surgery. What kind of pain clinic won't give pain meds when there's an acute problem. I'm disgusted with the way people are being treated any mor when I called in to get appt he said to make sure I had enough pain meds to get me through till I see them, wouldn't you take that as pain meds would be offered.

What is wrong with pain management clinics as CC. They should let people know they're not going to be helped or given pain pills!
