RIPP OFF AND SCAM
- Charged $50 monthly by Mediabridge since 2017 after a free trial; account canceled; refunds promised (Sept 14) but not received.
I was looking for a book online and I got directed to Mediabridge www.mediabridge.cc to download the content I needed and they offered a free trial. I signed up for a free trial not knowing that they would charge me 50 dollars every month until I discovered a charge on my bank statement in September.
When I looked back at my account I saw that they had charged me 5 times since 2017. I contacted them they automatically cancelled my account apologized and said they would refund me but only for teh transactions in 2018 because the ones in 2017 were locked in their systems. They sent me emails confirming the refunds on Sept 14th saying that it will take 5 to 10 business days.
To date I haven't received anything and I sent them my bank account statement to prove them that I did not receive no refund. They answered saying that the refund was processed already and that i needed to send them my bank statement.
I ask them for an OFFICIAL financial document that i could take to the bank to verify they say they don't have such document after asking me for a Bank statement which is an official document from me!
I How can one charge a bank card and NEVER send a receipt to let the person know that they are taking money from their account, WHAT KIND OF FRAUD IS THAT?
Preferred solution: Full refund
