AI Highlights
  • - Medi-Cal patient with a disabled scooter faced access issues and found one accessible facility after 20 minutes.
  • - Oral surgeon visits monthly.

Am on Medi-Cal and am physically disabled on a hot scooter. called WD to help me with a crown that fell off below the gum line.

MOST of their facilities are NOT handicaped accessible. Found one after 20 minutes. Then was told that for $25 I could get x-rays, etc. For extraction, full Medi-Cal would kick in if it is an emergency...if I was in pain.

I am not. I got the hint...ow ow ow. So she scheduled an appointment for tomorrow. While she was doing that I asked if there would be an oral surgeon there that day.

No, he comes in once a month. ONCE A MONTH? Won't be there for another month. Looked at surrounding WDs.

Nope-not for a month.

Check out their ads - oh, they have all these services...HA...only if your mouth doesn't fall off while you wait.

STICK A KNIFE IN ME, I'M DONE!!! Goodby WD- and SHAME ON YOU!
