This is the worst company I have ever worked with. I called 3 times to cancel my subscription and they sent the product anyway so I called again and I was told I would have a charge of 49.95 charged to my credit card with a 20% discount that was in April and they...

Meaningful Beauty in San Jose, California - Read Before You Buy

Honestly, this site is just full of people who simply cannot read. It lists numerous times on their site that the first order is simply a 30-day trial and that after 30 days, you will receive the full 90-day supply, and be billed for it. The 90-day product is clearly three times the price of the 30-day trial product. So when you paid approx. $50, in 30-days you will clearly be billed $150 for the next cycle. I must say that it is stated very very clearly and repeatedly on their site. So for everyone bashing this product, read the fine print. Otherwise I should say just read the print in general, it wasn't even fine print! I've dealt with companies and offers like this before. When you order the product and do not want to keep receiving them, call and cancel! You're signing up for a subscription, which unless you cancel, you will be charged for! There are even numerous links on their site to cancel or change the frequency of your supply. So before you call the BBB, call LensCrafters, because you may be due for some stronger lenses. If you didn't know what you were signing up for, call the phone number, they tell you! So you don't even have the trouble of reading. Simple. The product is great, and the website is easily navigable. This is not a "rip-off" unless you feel the product does not work for you. So for whoever took the time out of their day to talk down on a product, save your breath.

this article review is clearly written by an insider of the company. Look at where its from.

Same area as the distribution house of this product. Beware of this article 90 percent of these people on this site can't be wrong!!! Shame on you Cindy Crawford your millionaire status isn't enough for you?

No you have to prey on the common folk and allow The Gunther company to scam people out of their money. Too many people stating the credit card was charged not just the one time renewal fee's but time and time again.

Meaningful Beauty in Lexington, Kentucky - Terriable Customer Serice, DONT DO IT!

Details
i cancelled my "subscription May 1, 2012 by phone and by letter. In Sept. 2012 I get another shipment, so I pay it and then send a letter to them saying this was the last shipment, I am moving, i also called and informed them I was moving and to cancel my "subscription". In 2014 I got several bills from them stating that I needed to pay for yet another shipment, none was ever forwarded and I didnt want their stuff anymore. so as of 1/15 I now get an email stating that I need to contact them about a past due balance! So I call and I am informed that they are an outside agency, even though the email says it came directly from meaningful beauty but that i could not respond to it by email. I have checked reviews, which to have that many horrible ones is amazing! but I filled out their corporate complaint form and explained, i doubt that anything happens, but i told them i would turn them in for mail fraud if they continue their pursuit of fraudulent billing practices. I find this whole company very dishonest. I will re-post when I get a reply from corporate, if I do.

Public Service Announcement 3: Review #577043 - NOT ALL ONLINE COMPANIES DO AS MEANINGFUL BEAUTY DOES

Part 3 - I want to try the Products x 1 mo - but - CANNOT DO IT FOR MEANINGFUL BEAUTY It is my experience that I wish to share that not all online companies prevent you from trying their products. I had purchased some Ovation hair products at the Pomona Fair. Much to my satisfaction, I went online, ordered Holiday packages at a fantastic price for myself and others as gifts AND haven't gotten no a single extra charge from Ovation and not a single email. THEIR PRODUCT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF & WILL REORDER AGAIN WITHOUT CONCERN THAT THERE WILL BE ONGOING CHARGES THAT I DID NOT WANT OR ASK FOR. Amazon charges you for what you order as well and has a great return policy. Your inbox can get filled with ongoing suggestions, but you can EASILY unsubscribed -- only once!!!! --- and the numerous emails stop immediately. COSMETICS - I discovered BareMinerals at the Mall after my 57 min New Years' Meaningless phone call to Meaningful Beauty. Bare Minerals products are FANTASTIC!!!!

Public Service Announcement 3 - Not All Companies try to charge you for UNWANTED PRODUCTS

Meaningful Beauty in Westerville, Ohio - Wish I had read the reviews!!!

First of all let me say I ordered this product based on the representation of Cindy Crawford. To make a long story short- the product is a good product- but Good Luck if/when you want to cancel your subscription! My issue was that I was being charged more frequently than I could use up the product- I requested to not receive shipments as frequently, thinking that would also delay the auto- charges on my checking account. That's not how it works- you are still charged monthly even if you only receive it, say quarterly. It took me 3 phone calls to customer service to finally have my account cancelled. The reps are very firm and rude and even outright lied to me- another long story. And I'm still waiting on my final refund of $39.95, after returning the last shipment unopened over 4 weeks ago. I just wish I had read these reviews before I got tangled up with this company but hopefully my review will help others decide NOT to fall into this trap.

Meaningful Beauty in Houston, Texas - Hard to Cancel

1.5
Details
Meaningful Beauty seems to not take no for an answer. Very difficult to cancel your product subscription because you are not satisfied with the products. Most are just sunscreen anyway. I read reviews before agreeing to the trial and thought that with Cindy Crawford's name attached the ones I read about it being difficult to cancel and they keep charging your account had to be just their bad luck. But no, those reviews are right on. It seems to be a common business practice with them and this company should be stopped from treating their customers like this. They say it is easy to cancel from the website, but there is no such option. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

this scam is exactly same as Proactiv. My personal info now is sold or transferred to Meaningful Beauty and they place an order for me directly.

I just got a package from Meaningful Beauty (never heard this company until yesterday) and felt so shocked why they can keep doing such fraud again and again! this time i am smarter so i went to my bank to get a new credit card and report this fraud.

Meaningful Beauty in Long Beach, California - It is impossible to cancel once you've signed up!!!!

I have used this product for 2 years. Recently I started getting red dry patches on my face. I stopped using the product and they went away. I have tried getting on their website to cancel, you can't. You can't delete your credit info and you can't stop shipment. I tried calling after waiting 15 minutes on hold, i hung up in frustration. I emailed them and got a sickly sweet email back saying I could cancel at anytime by deleting my credit card. YOU CAN'T!!! It's a total scam! I'm not going to do this with me. I am going to the bank to cancel my card and get a new one. So frustrating that Cindy Crawford would be associated with this! Not to the other "famous stars" that are endorsing it!!! Don't order this product!!!

I had to cancel my subscription because I started breaking out. They transferred me to a specialist who wanted the name of my dermatologist.

I told them I am seeing someone new and could not remember his name at the moment. LOL I am not giving out my Dr.'s name! All they needed to know was the product was making me break out and is not working for me. They canceled my account.

After reading all the comments about still being charged etc., I am going to get in touch with my cc company and have any charges blocked.

Thanks for the heads up on the not so professional conduct of this company. Wish I had seen these reviews earlier.

Worst customer service ever! Would never recommend this company to anyone!

Awful to deal with. I tried to cancel my order, the difficult to understand foreign call center asked why I didn't like the product, I said it was because I have really bad acne since starting the product. I'm 46, too old for my face to look like a 15 year old's. She said, "I have to transfer you to the "Specialists to discuss your reaction to the product." Before I could reply, I was put on hold again.

Many minutes later, I got a recording saying "All of our specialist are busy, leave your name and number and someone will call you back in 24 hours!" Seriously! Then I was hung up on. I immediately called back, sat on hold again, and another difficult to understand person came on the line, I said I wanted to cancel the product. She then asked the same question of why?

I said I'm not telling you I just want to cancel. She put me on hold to access my account, came back on and said,"It's because of the breakouts, I have to transfer you to the specialists! I firmly said "NO!" I was already transferred there and hung up on! She continued to argue with me for several minutes while I kept saying NO!

I DO NOT WANT TO TALK TO THE SPECIALISTS! I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER! She kept going on about the F*ing specialists who could also cancel my order! After several minutes of us arguing about my just wanting to cancel the order and she wanting my to talk to the specialist, she finally said she cancelled my order.

I told her my credit card better not be charged and another shipment better not show up because I will pursue it with my credit card company! She said I will receive an email confirmation in about 2 days. Seriously???? Do I believe her?????

I have a feeling this is NOT OVER!!!! Oh, and when she hung up, she said they were open 24 hours if I change my mind and can call back!

If I wasn't shaking with rage, I might have laughed! After that, do you think I will EVER be a customer again?!
