Zero stars. We bought the chicken pot pie at our local Jewel Grocery. It was absolutely inedible. Totally dry and lacking in chicken. All crust or whatever they use for crust. Do not buy this product. It is terrible! UPC 0 513** ***** *.

February 2024: Absolutely agree. Dry, tasteless Chicken Pot Pie.

Inedible. Photo on the package bears no resemblance to the contents.

Kosher for Passover Dinners Are Uneatable

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought 8 various dinners to eat during Passover. I am 83 yrs. and thought to have dinners already cooked would be wonderful. I have opened 3 now and they are the worst food I have everD tasted. The chicken dinner had some piece of processed chicken in it. At least I think it was chicken. The rib roast had some piece of overcooked beef and lots of fat in a very salty sauce. The potato kugel was terrible and the carrots small and too too sweet. They called it tzimmes. I never tasted anything like that. Each dinner was $12 or $13 dollars. I felt sick in my stomach after each one. I will never buy this ever again and I warn you not to do buy them. I also bought a frozen potato and pastrami knishes. Never found the pastrami and the cover of the knish was hard and unable to chew. I threw the rest out. I can send my credit card entry but I did complain to the Winn Dixie Manager.

Kosher For Passover Meals Uneatable

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought 8 frozen meals for Passover at Winn Dixie in Fern Park, FL. I opened 8 and couldn't eat them. Made me sick to my stomach. Will not even try to eat the other five I bought. Also bought Potato and Pastrami Knishes with no pastrami and the shell unable to chew. Threw that out as well Will never buy anything with the Meal Mart label. I lost $105 on the order. The Passover meal called chicken has some processed that was supposed to be chicken. On the rib steak meal, the meat was overcooked with lots and lots of fat in a very salty sauce. The rest on both meals were the worst I have ever tasted. I am 83 and thought it would be easy to buy ready made meals. They should be ashamed to sell them. Pure garbage.i can send my credit card list to show what I bought. I will call the manager at Winn Dixie in Fern Park and complain about this.

THE MEATBALLS WERE HARD and COMMUNICATED MY UNHAPPINESS TO THE IDIOT IN CUSTOMER RELATIONS &;;;;;;;;amp;amp; AFTER GIVING ME THE 3RD DEGREE AGREED TO SEND ME A SINGLE REPLACEMENT COUPON HAS THE AUDACITY TO SEND ME 6 $I.00 COUPONS !!!!!!! THE MEAL COST ALMOST $ 6.00 AT FINE FAIR. MIND YOU THE MEALS USE TO SELL FOR $ 3.89. Granted my wife as a rule has enjoyed the meals in the past with few exceptions such as our recent experience but this disgusting behavior was the final straw. the lack of brain and chutzpah !!!!

Spotlighing an uneatable product

We purchased Meal Mart's Glatt kosher Bone in beef rib steak at a local supermarket in Connecticut. At $19.43 per steak we anticipated a lovely meal. The meat was simply uneatable. All gristle, the quality was below poor. Shame on Meal Mart for trying to pass this off as quality kosher meat and selling it a premium prices. This is not an isolated event, it has happened numerous times in the past. It's the last time it's going to happen to us, and any others we can pass this egregious experience on to.

Don't buy their frozen pot pies.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought your frozen chicken pot pie at my local supermarket since it was not too loaded with sodium and carbs. However, it was so dry it was inedible. Also, there was almost no chicken in it. I am on disability and cannot afford to throw away money on a product that I had to throw out. Please reply to daycenter@***o.,com

Meal Mart - quality less than dog food & it's called Kosher!

Unless you have bought products from Meal Mart at your grocery store or wherever they sell their trash than you cannot possibly imagine what they pass as meat for human consumption. Recently bought $40. worth of Kosher meat to entertain some people. Since my local Publix carries their products. I bought 5 packages of Been Minute Steaks. What an mistake! The smell of the raw meat was "funny" to the nose but I had already opened all the packages. I tried to contact Meal Mart by internet and they don't have a customer service department on the internet. I will call them by phone tomorrow however they ruined my dinner today. Stay away from this company and its products. Dog food smells better!

The worst thing I have ever eaten. Sick for 2 days. How can anyone make something this bad .

Just purchased and heated their Hungarian Cabbage Rolls. I can attest that it tastes like dog food too. Never again and I am going to register a complaint with Costco too.

Hi. I'm 100% Hungarian, 2nd generation and those "Hungarian Style" stuffed cabbage rolls are NO WAY NEAR our Hungarian traditional style of cooking.

My dad and I bought them for the heck of it when they were on sale and I nearly vomited. They were all flushed right down the toilet where they belong. I actually told the customer service representative at the returns desk, when I was returning something else and she actually refunded me for them even though I disposed of them. I told her it was no way near Hungarian style and that it definitely did not measure up to Costco's standards.

My dad makes the best authentic Hungarian stuffed cabbage.

This afternoon I purchased a pkg of "Hungarian Style Beef Stuffed Cabbage in Sweetened Tomato Sauce", fully cooked ready to heat. I wish I had read this comment before going to the store.

There were 4 in the pkg and 3-1/2 went in the garbage. They were terrible. Less than dog food? My cat would not come close to the small piece of the beef stuffing I offered him and he eats most anything I give him.

I'm in my 70's and been eating (Commercial as well as home made) Hungarian cabbage rolls most of my life.

Never have I had such garbage. Right-on, less than dog food.
